In early February, my husband and I brought in a canvas we purchased in Paris to get framed. At the time, we were told the frame we selected was back ordered, but would be done no later than June or July. We really loved the frame, so we agreed. June, July, AND August passed without any word from Wimsey Cove. Finally in September I called and asked what was going on. That’s when I found out that they still didn’t have the frame in stock — something I only found out because I called. The woman told me she would call the supplier and give me a call back tomorrow about an ETA, and if the ETA wasn’t good for us, we could select a new frame. I never received another call or update. Today (early October) I had finally had enough and went to get our canvas. I was told my order was voided a long time ago which was news to me!! I am sympathetic to supply chain issues, but what is unforgivable and disrespectful is the 0 communication from this store. Horrific customer service and a poorly run operation. While their frames are very nice, the disorganized chaos that is this business is something to be weary of. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the gentleman that processed my refund was prompt and he was (thankfully) able to give me my painting back. You will absolutely get better customer service at any other local or big-chain store.

Fantastic framing with extremely knowledgeable, talented and helpful staff, who have an eye for detail and definitely help choose the right frame to enhance the artwork. They certainly love what they do and were incredibly careful with the art being framed. I am thrilled with the results. Highly recommend!

We've used Wimsey Cove for both quality digital printing and also framing of special family heirlooms and pictures. Their turnaround isn't particularly fast, but the quality is excellent. Also, everyone we've encountered in the shop has been very helpful in giving knowledgable guidance and helpful suggestions. You will not be disappointed. In fact, once something came back to us that wasn't quite what we expected, and I spoke with the shop owner. Immediately she took the piece back in and fixed it to our liking. It's worth spending money for quality work. I would highly recommend Wimsey Cove.

This was my first time having art professionally framed and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the customer service was great. Help with selection, explanation of glass protection, cost variation, etc., and payment flexibility were all extremely helpful. Follow up about progress and when it was ready for pick up came as promised. Will definitely be using them again for my next frame needs!

I've been exceptionally pleased with Wimsey Cove's work. They understand proper museum-level matting, framing, and glazing and do a thoroughly professional job with sensitive materials. This frame shop is wonderful!! We've had many antique historical documents, pictures and a Chinese article of clothing done. They are very knowledgeable and have great and unique ideas. The staff is friendly and just a pleasure to work with. Thank you all for all the great work!!

Nice frame work, however, VERY expensive. Not happy with the lack of communication. They had a problem with their machinery while was down for over 2 weeks. No one communicated there would be a delay in work completion. I made a wasted trip down to Annapolis as I expected to pick up my art work on the quoted pick up date range. I believe it was over 3 weeks for completion with no communication. I had to call each time to check in on the status. They did leave a message when it finally was completed. I won't go back unfortunately, as I think there should have been some sort of discount (they disagreed) on the very high price and poor customer service.

Working with Wimsey Cove has been excellent. They produced top quality mated and framed, under low glare glass, historic local maps, including custom digital modification, which were presented as trophies for our annual regatta. Excellent!
