The store was clean and bright. The staff was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about their inventory. They did not, however, carry the particular kind of angled knitting needles I was looking for. Of course, that didn't mean I left empty handed, because I can always find something I need at Joann's Fabric and Crafts! LOL

I was in the check line and the woman who ranged me up was very rude and disrespectful to me. I was on one of the electric carts due to my illness and she told me in her exact words “hey, just make sure your put that back… you know when you’re done”. She literally spoke to me like I was a child and not a fully grown woman, almost like I was a pet or animal or something. I was completely stunned because I just felt so disrespected and you know so go to a store and get that level of disrespect from someone who’s supposed to help you is completely inappropriate and I felt so wronged. It’s been about an hour since I left there. so my advice to you is to not go to Joann to get your basic art supplies, you’re better off just heading to Walmart because you’re probably get treated better than I did today.

Great craft kits for the kids in east to find spots! Employees were very helpful! Colleen was super nice

Very nice experience today. Store always clean and orderly, but cashier was wonderful. Very upbeat, smiling (yes I could tell, even with her mask). She made the closing to my shopping worthwhile.

I especially love the new line of yarn that Joann's has produced--it's affordable and a better quality acrylic yarn than most. They also have great deals on seasonal home decor and florals. Highly recommend this location for all your craft needs in Frederick.

With Covid it seems Joann's reduced the amount of inventory they now carry. But, it seems they still have, or nearly have, all the items one could want. I was missing the small wooden boxes they used to carry. I am Laser Engraving Christmas presents and wanted to decorate a few. None were to be found. But, I did pick up a few sheets of birch plywood at a fair and reasonable price. Joann Fabric has an Android App which I use on my phone. They provide online coupons that give a considerable discount. Even with my discounts I managed to spend well over $100. I'm thankful that this store is in Frederick.

This location is the BIGGEST Joann store I have ever been to. The selection of fabrics was immense. And the selection of other craft items (happy planner, cricut, framing, home decore, wood, yarn, and so much more!)was huge. There was entire sections for most crafts imaginable, sections for crafts that I didn't even know that Joann carried. Not to mention their large selection of home decore, Ott lights, craft furniture, this location really did have it ALL! There was a misprint of a sale sign but since I caught it the manager gave me the price on the sign. One of the cashiers is also a school teacher, I over heard her talking that she's working at Joann because her students are doing a service project for the babies in the hospital and she is buying the supplies out of pocket! So working there helps with the cost.
