I loved this place but it became impossible to make an appointment. I had to go somewhere else. My stylist ONLY used text and it is a tedious and ridiculous way to do things when an app or 5 minute conversation would do. When things change, I'll return in a heartbeat.

I would like to share my pleasant and satisfying experience I continue to have at Fabulocs Hair Salon. I've been a client for more than three months and I'm a happy customer. Each stylist I've encountered at this salon has presented such a pleasant , professional attitude, knowledgeable on hair care and offer suggestions and educate you on how to care for your hair. The style is not rush but well defined, especially the coil style which is my favorite. Fabulocs hair product coil custard works wonderfully on my tightly coily hair. The salon is clean ,and well organize. This salon sits amid a beautiful shopping area in Glenarden. I can not wait for my next appointment as I watch my hair continue to thrive. I have been coming to fabulocs for locs retwist and style for almost a year under the expert care of Tenisha. My hair is growing and feels full and healthy because Tenisha provides hair care not just hair style. Although the styles are always super cute. I get compliments on my hair from women and men old and young Tenisha is super nice. She is always considerate of my time and always kind and courteous. Tenisha is the best!!! Service: Dreadlocks

Tenisha is a great natural hair stylist. I have locs and I am never disappointed. Each time I come up with a style she bring it to life. She does great with my hair and very knowledgeable about natural hair. I always feel like she hears me and takes pride in her work. She always willing to teach and help you understand the proper way to care for your hair. She help me transition from interlocking to palm rolling my locs again. I highly recommend!! Intensive moisture therapy is amazing! However, the owner wanted me to adjust the spelling of my name in order to make looking me up in the system, easier. That didn't sit too well with me.

Martina just didn’t bother to show up for my scheduled loc appointment. I waited 30 minutes and no Martina, her peers kept lying for her, they knew she wasn’t there. I arrived at 1:40, my appointment was at 1:45. I asked if I had time to get a drink next door and was told sure. I checked back at 1:45 and I was told Martina was in the parking lot. @ 1:55 I was told to have a seat at the Washington bowl because Martina was on her was in from the parking lot. I sat at the Washington bowl for 15 minutes then I asked one of the staff if Martina was in, she must have known I’d been there for 30 minutes so she said, “ oh she just stepped out for a minute”. I snapped and walked out. I definitely don’t want Martina’s spirit in my hair nor do I want to be in a shop with lying spirits. Fabulous at Woodmore Town Center I unprofessional and disrespectful. When I texted Martina about standing me up this was Martina’s nonchalant response: ‘Good afternoon sorry about the miscommunication I didn’t see your last minute confirmation until earlier today ! and my assistant was going to shampoo you but left so there’s not much I can do about that . I hope you do have a good rest of your day .’ Service: Hairstyling

La Shawn was great. On time and very gentle with all of this natural hair. I haven't had many positive experiences in the past but I will surely be back. It felt nice to not have to spend time doing my hair for a change

I stopped in today for my first time as I wanted to support Black Business. I was excited to learn that they had an entire collection of products. The owner and the manger greeted me and helped me choose the right product for my hair and scalp using a unique hair chart. I chose a Chammile/Grapefruit Mixture for the Shampoo. And tea tree oil treatment and Lavendar Conditioner. I love that their products are made in house and made to order. There is so much to choose from. And then of course the Salon itself which I'll check out one day. After COVID19. One if the styles I saw a beautician did was a twist updo. Clean Simple and Beautiful. Highly Recommend. Anything to support Black Business.
