We were here for the weekend and visited this shop three times, each time the staff was friendly, drinks were great, parking is super easy (park behind the building their is tons of room), and the breakfast sandwiches were excellent! Kid-friendliness: Yummy treats, hot cocoa, and kid toys available for purchase inside. Parking: Large lot behind the building

Was in town for a multi day event… and was fortunate to have coffee and breakfast at Java Rock multiple mornings…. Then bought lunch for our group. They were most accommodating, and all of the food and drink was excellent! Thanks!

Came from Baltimore on a jet ski because I heard their burritos are great. Turns out the hype is worth it.

The Atomic Wrap was, as advertised, HOT! I didn't have coffee. Service was a bit slow but they were busy. Clean. Outdoor seating available, too. $$$ Kid-friendliness: Very informal. Gifts for browsing. Parking: Fairly good. Lots more beside VFD. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp

Best little coffee shop in the area. Love their smoothies. I recommend trying the tropical sunrise smoothie or a cold irish wake up with extra espresso shots. It's also a gift shop with an interesting selection of wines and cigars. Not a lot of cigars but there's a small humidifier box of them. Selection changes. Gifts and books are pretty neat. Great place to get a souvenir gift for friends and family on your trip. Indoor and outdoor seating. Place has pretty good food and pastries as well.

Nice place, very small though. A room with bottles of wine in it, another tomorrow where they sell coffee and pastries. Their employees always seem friendly. My second or third time I've been there. Only visit there when I go to the restaurant in Rock Hall. I live an hour away

As increasingly regular visitors to the Inn at Huntingfield Creek, we’ve enjoyed our stops at Java Rock, whether for a quick coffee, to select a bottle of wine, pick up a quirky gift, or enjoy a good lunch or breakfast. The place is clean and fun, as well as comfortable for indoor and outdoor seating. The service and staff is welcoming and quite helpful. And may I recommend the Irish Wake-up Coffee? It’s really quite good. If you’re in the Rock Hall area, or even nearby in Chestertown, then you really should visit this charming place.

This was our first time there. It's a great place! Parking is the only problem, but I won't remove a star for what they can't control. The place is charming outside and inside, it's clean and, most importantly, has savory foods! I enjoyed the tacos. The pork was cooked perfectly. The kick from the chilies was just perfect! Not too mild and not too hot. My husband had a roast beef panini. He loved it! Pics of our food are included in this review. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the outside while outside. The pics I share here are from inside, taken while sitting at our table. The outside table area is so beautiful! The tables under the massive trees are perfect on a hot day, but not when it's this humid, so we dined inside. And inside is very nice! Again, I won't take a star away for the cost of lunch. The prices may seem high, but considering the ingredients are all fresh and made to order (excluding things like the pork in my tacos, which have to be cooked a long time before serving), I have no complaint about the cost.

Just tried to call in an order and was told they're not accepting phone in orders. Five stars just went to two stars in a flash...(my family wanted me to change it to one star).9/6/20 I've been to Java Rock many times over the last five years and each and every time they've exceeded my expectations. Coffee and light fare. You can't lose here if you're after a breakfast or light lunch. all delicious!
