They don’t take most anything. Wanted to give me $4 for a dress we paid $50 for. Customer service sucks. It was my daughter’s 15th birthday but they wouldn’t give her the discount because she didn’t have a driver license to prove it. 🙄

I don't like Emily straight up ...I'm telling you they be prejudice with a smile. I swear these sheets and pillowcase ppl be real. Only thing they not burning crosses. They be having run down shoes with marks on them. Faded tshirts. Stuff look like it was in a yard sale bin . But let you be black they so thorough they should be CIA agents ..first thing they say we don't take these style of clothing .what they want ann Klein.. Liz Taylor collection.. They can be clean and everything.Just cause it's called uptown cheapskate it's still a salvation army partner.a thrift store . ugh these ppl...never again. Just plain corny.. we need more black businesses seriously and I will be telling and educating ppl bout investing in our own

Has anyone filed a complaint with the better business on this place...their policies and prices change from person to person...also the color of your skin from the looks of the reviews...I had an experience there that was definitely not worth my items and don't plan on going back...it changes too much depending on who is looking at and valuing your items...I'm definitely going to look deeper into this company...its owners and their business practices. One day it's half and 1/3 ...then from 25% to 1/4 or 1/3 ..bottom line there's something not right

Reasonable offer for selection of clothes they chose. Found out they don’t accept the brand Talbot because it’s too mature for their clientele. Primary customer base is 15 - 25 years old. Nice store, clean and well maintained. Everything is displayed according to size.

Always a great experience. Attentive staff who are happy to help answer any questions. Reasonable prices and you can't miss the sales!! Zoe was very friendly and made checking out a breeze!!

I always find unique pieces and accessories when shopping at the Salisbury Uptown Cheapskate. This last trip ended with thick work jeans for my son, a cute ballerina skirt for my daughter, a pink strawberry summer dress and buttered color and feel purse for me. Great finds for my whole family!

I am not normally one to complain, especially not write reviews. Today I had the worst experience. I've always kind of braced myself going into this store, as I am a sensitive person and the staff has been quite snappy and/or rude in the past. However, today it was so overboard I feel inclined to say something. I came in with a basket of stuff, some of which I expected to be turned down but still gave it a shot. The girl at the counter, I didn't check her name, however she had short silver hair and some little tattoos on her hand, rolled her eyes the minute we came in with stuff. My basket was small, I came in at 6ish, so more than enough time to go through my stuff. 8-9 minutes later I got called up which I thought was weird cause I've never been called up that fast. She then told me it will be a pass on all items because they were too worn. I just said okay and left with my belongings. Some of these items were bought and worn once, including a very nice Tommy Hilfiger sweater. I felt overlooked and that the worker did not want to go through my clothes because she complained of "not wanting to do any more bins" while I was checking in. I'm disappointed and will be selling my clothes to another Uptown Cheapskate or Plato's.

horrible establishment ❗️ I went there in hopes to sell a prom dress I had bought but never used. Only worn once and that was to try it on !! I went in there and the woman at the front desk had already looked annoyed/mad but when she took my dress out the bag handled it with no type of care and was just letting it touch the floor which I thought was very rude, but proceeded to tell me that over $139 dress could only be sold to them for $5 ! which of course was not in my price range and when I asked her to hand back my dress she put it on the whole other side of the counter instead of in front of her where I was standing . Horrible customer service and if I could find the name of that lady she’d definitely be reported !

The staff is always happy and energetic when greeting me as you enter the store. If they did not see me come in and they see me shoping. Their greeting is the same. Always willing to assist you if you have a question or need help finding something. They have the same energy at check out I sold some things on several occasions and opted for the store credit instead of the cash. The process was explained thoroughly. I am employed at a local University and I always recommend that the students shop there. I also encourage my coworkers. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE STAFF IN THE SALISBURY, MD LOCATION. ❤❤❤
