This is my PCP's office. Although there is construction going on now it is well and organized and marked off so parking isn't affected.

Changing my health care to John Hopkins was a DISASTER. HORRIFIC. I wish there were more adjectives in the dictionary to describe how HORRIBLE my experiences have been with them. When I changed my policy to them, I was assigned a doctor and sent a policy card with the doctor listed on it. I tried to make an appointment and was told "YOU DO NOT HAVE A DOCTOR ASSIGNED". After explaining to them, they basically admitted thru their incompetence, that the assigned doctor was not available because of their overbooking. So, they assigned me a FNP/Nurse Practitioner. My wife is an RN and I have no issues with an FNP. But, I didn't leave the University of Maryland and an assigned doctor to get an FNP. What a joke. In an effort to give them a second chance (per se), I contacted their nurse line to get a refill on my blood pressure medicine. After an hour or so (multiple conversations) the on duty nurse called me and told me "We can't refill your blood pressure medicine because it's not listed in your chart." No kidding? I only had one appointment where I listed all my medications and it's my fault that it's not reflected in your system? Thanks John Hopkins. I'm glad you are so concerned about my health that you can't even refill or give me a temporary prescription of my blood pressure medicine to get me thru the holidays. As a retired military member, I caution all military families (active, reserve or retired) to thoroughly investigate, research, and contemplate what you are doing before you switch to John Hopkins. Their incompetence and lack of care is a glaring red flag for one retired Marine. I will switch care as soon as possible. Charles Sexton

I love the front desk staff. However, the doctors are horrible. Over the last 11 years I've experienced everything from a male doctor wrapping my foot and sending me home telling me to ice it, turns out my foot was fractured and dislocated. Today Dr. Day refused to speak to me and to manage my son's medication after she's been doing it for 2 years. So to get his medications managed I have to go over an hour and a half away from my home, regardless of the White Plains office being less than a mile from my home. I dislike doctors who do not listen to their patients. I literally had to bring my spouse along the first 3 times I saw Dr. Cram for him to tell her what I needed, in my presence for her to take me seriously. Admittedly that changed eventually, but it should not have occured in the first place. I'm switching offices as soon as I can. Better to avoid this office if you want a doctor who is a partner in your care and not doctors who think you are beneath them.

first, there should be an option to choose no stars and still be able to post a review... i went to this dr office 1 time, the admin staff was fine but the doctor was definitely not there for the patient. she came into the room, sat at the computer, looked at me from across the room, asked me 2 questions, closed the computer, left the room and that was the end of that visit. i was assured prior to being seen that they took my insurance, but was later hit with a $200 bill!

We have been using them for since 2014. We use them under the US Family Health Care Plan. Have had no issues whatsoever. Love this clinic

I used to love this place. Dr. Day was top notch, she cared and was kind. My last three visit here have been awful. First let me say the front desk ladies are absolutely amazing. Now the doctors who disregard all concerns. They just want to pump you with radiation, and not do the next best test. "It's too expensive" is what I was told. Since when is a doctor going to tell me something pertaining to my health is too expensive?!? Unacceptable, her job is about my health not the cost(that I will be paying for out of pocket anyway). With my family past and an ongoing issue this is just sickening. Never ever will I go back here. I forgot to add that they up-code office visits(illegal and costs us all more money).

So far, I have not been able to see a doctor. I moved locations and my family and I have been JH patients for over a year. My initial call was to make new patient appointments, I was asked my insurance, then IMMEDIATELY was told nope, they arent taking new patients at all. So I asked why their website has numerous physicians and pediatricians and it says they are all taking new patients. I was then told that half of those physicians aren't even there anymore. So I said ok, why not update your site because most of the information on it is misleading. The next time my husband called and was told because we are already JH patients we can do a transfer, no biggie right, we was transferred and my husband and son was able to make a new patient appt with this same office. So i called for myself and my daughter and was told they cant take new patients. So I had to give them the same speech about how we were transferred etc...and apparently the communication and lack thereof is missing. After that phone call, I was transferred to the actual front desk and not the appt line, and was told it would be 3 months before my daughter could be seen. So needless to say, we are assigned to this location with a family physician but cant be seen because they arent taking new patients. Typical for you and disturbing!!! I hope they get it together soon.

Fair Warning, Dr. Cram at this practice, double bills for two visits when you use your Annual Physical Benefit and you end up with a bill, for using what you think should be a basic benefit. She lets you talk, asks questions and then uses this information to bill you for an additional "sick" visit. Without telling you. In my opinion this is fraudulent and at best questionable. There should be full disclosure from the Doctor that if you mention anything outside of what she deems a yearly physical, then you will be billed for a second visit. I have researched this online and I find this an outrage that Doctors can get away with this. Looks to be a fairly recent loophole So if you choose this doctor, tell her upfront that you are there for the yearly Physical and do not ask questions or talk about anything, or allow you to talk about anything, that's outside of the basic benefit because you do not want a second bill. Or look for a Doctor that is less concerned about $$$, bills a Physical as one visit and discloses upfront any additional fees, so you can choose.

I have been with JHCP located in White Plains, MD since they opened there and have had a Wonderful experience with all of the Female Doctors and not so favorable experience with the Male doctor. However, I will not allow that one time bad experience to impact my overall rating of the Doctors and Staff at that location.
