Went to go in and of course got ID’d like everyone should be. They took extra long looking at our Id’s and eventually let us in. We chill out at a table and go to get a drink. Noticing the bartender seems to be avoiding us he calls the bouncers over and tells him he wasn’t serving us because we looked 12. At 24, I had never been more shocked in my life. I understand making sure to not serve underaged people, but maybe invest in a ID scanner if you feel like you can’t trust the guys outside and that way you don’t turn away people who are literally of age. Won’t matter to the bar since it is just 2 people, but we definitely won’t go here again.

My girlfriend and I went in midday and it was completely empty. Yet the experience was awesome because we didn't have to talk loudly and we didn't have trouble hearing each other. They had darts which was awesome. I think they even had a couple arcade games in there. I give it five stars because of the name of the bar. And the experience I had at around 1 or 2 p.m. . Definitely would go again.

If you are looking for the most divey bar in town, this is your spot. My girlfriend and I walked in to 20 rugby players eating Mac and cheese out of solo cups. None of their taps worked and the AC was broken. There was however a box fan in the middle of the floor to cool down the large rugby players after their game.

When we came (around 1am) there was four people standing in the front, in line, waiting to get in. It was so cold outside! We look through the window inside and it wasn’t crowded at all, it was half empty! And then someone opened the door and let those four inside, but left the three of us waiting. But it was cold! Why would you play the stupid game of making a line in front on such a cold day!? And the place is half empty! For me doesn’t make any sense

This is one of the few classic Southie bars remaining. The staff are great. Go in, be polite and respectful, young crowds of Southie kids frequent the bar.
