I understand the need for public safety, However in asking if a rapid test can satisfy admission. I stand my ground and state it is segregation and prejudice to deny someone based on this. Then told to get with reality. The reality is this is an unprofessional response. How many stories are out there that a shot does not and will not guarantee not getting it. Remember when aids phobia ran rampant? The segregation of Asian people In WW Ii? Anyway i will continue to give bad press on this unethical and un-American thought process and attitude.

I have always supported this little venue until now. The guy who runs it orders that anyone going needs to show vaccination cards. Boston, New York and Rhode Island Comic Cons which are about 100x bigger only required masks. When you try to discuss this with him he sicks his social media buddies on you calling you names and harassing you. I sat back and watched this venue attack other people nonstop because of their choices. Extremely unprofessional! This venue was always way over priced for what it is, but I try to support small business whenever I can. This one won't see my money again! Regardless of whatever your stance is politically or on covid vaccinations as a small business owner you shouldn't treat your customers amd bully them the way this guy does! Name calling, talking down on and trolling is not right.

This place came up in my Facebook feed. I read the event details and thought that this looked like an event I may be interested in. I read further and I saw they support the "Papers Please" agenda with vaccinations for their event. This is a really bad idea and nobody should support restricting access to individuals for any event or company. I spoke up about it in one of their numerous announcements and was silenced immediately and blocked from commenting on their page. I looked further into their social media and realized that many people agree with me and that the company shot back at them with disparaging remarks and fear mongering. Due to the discrimination and the rude rhetoric or silencing of the company, I cannot support this event. I just finished writing this review moments ago and the owner of this company wrote back stating I'm spreading misinformation and that my opinion is based on political agenda. I am not spreading misinformation, sir. I am stating the facts that can be seen on your announcement page. My opinion is not based on politics, but on human rights. This is not the way to run a business and not how to respond to reviews or social media.

Every show has so much to offer! The Northeast Comic Con is not just a convention for any one type of collector, it is an eclectic mix of your favorite childhood memories and stars, to live rock concerts and stand up comedy shows. This is not to mention the 100s of vendors, authors, artists - many being the best of the best! Held at the Boxboro Regency Hotel and Convention Center, you can get a fairly priced room and stay right at the Comic Con so as not to miss a moment of all day (into the night) events! We loved the after-parties, sitting at the same table with celebrities, watching and participating in karaoke with them, so much fun. TIPS - If you do stay, the hotel food is bit expensive, so either bring your own or order out. The rooms are not 4 star, and many need to be updated; every room I've stayed in has been clean, and if I needed anything the hotel staff was quick to respond. There is a heated pool for hotel guests, and 2 bars - one of which is located just right next to where the concerts happen. Ask Questions! Ask the staff what and when things are going on, and what not to miss! Things happen all day, and this is a LIVE event, so things may change on the fly. If you want any of the VIP perks, definitely buy them early as they tend to sell out quickly!

Friendly atmosphere! Wide variety of vendors selling collectible merchandise from toys to old TV Guide magazines. All sorts of artists selling some very unique stuff. In the evenings there were live bands playing, including a very entertaining band called Gello (Gwar+Green Jello). The Hotel it's held at is pretty decent too, very cool courtyard where everyone meets after hours. I had a great time and will definitely be attending again!

One of my favorite local cons! Very affordable, extremely fun! I would highly recommend this con! Although the Movie Stars/Comic Creators showcased may not be A-List, they certainly aren't unheard of either... Some of the guests may surprise you! My favorite opportunity was meeting Gilbert Gottfried! The other cool thing about this con is how laid back and chill it feels... Most of the celebrities and creators like to hang out and even party!

I've been going to the NorthEast Comic Con for several years and always have a good time. It is never too big or two crowded so I can browse dealers booths without having to be squeezed in with too many people. There are always lots of different dealers from tables with good dollar bins all the way up to high end graded stuff. There is also usually a good mix of dealers selling collectibles too. Its a nice way to spend a day and I almost always leave with a good haul.

I've never been to a Comic Con before and I have never been to the Boxborough regency for an event. I have to say that I was impressed by it. We went with our kids who are 3,5 and 7 not knowing what to expect. BTW they were all free to get in. They have never had more fun. I was totally surprised that they would enjoy the event as much as they did. They dressed up in their halloween costumes (all super heroes) and had a blast. Its a great event if you're looking to do something with your kids. I would definitely go again!

The Northeast Comic Con was a great experience. My 6 year old had a blast And met some famous people such as Guy Gilcrest, the original artist for the Jim Henson collection, fragile rock rock creator, and Gilbert Godfried, among many others. Will attend next year. They have a great video game room for kids too.

I had a great time at this convention. If you are someone looking for a smaller con to attend, this is a great fit. Lots of vendors available, i left with a good amount of toys lol. not as overwhemling as the bigger cons like in boston or rhode island. good place to walk around for a few hours and meet some comic artists, fans, and a few celebs, i plan on going back again for sure
