The selection is good and the prices are as well. Nearly all staff are Pleasant but lately there have been a couple that seemed like they would rather be any place else other then in Dollar General. If it continues I'll stop going there. If not I'll be happy to return again and again.

One of the worst stores I've been into. Its dirty, always out or stuff. Employees are very slow and un unwelcoming. I always end up standing in like about 10 people deep with one cashier. While the other ones are talking or one their phones.

Very messy and hard to get around aisles because of so much stuff in the way, there short staffed and seem to have a high turnover rate. There's one employee that never wears ppe and has been seen sneezing without properly covering there mouth, and doesn't keep her distance from customers.

This store is straight dirty!!! I went there tonight and when I left I realized my entire parking spot was literally covered in glass. And you can tell by the insane amount of cigarette buttes out there that noone cleans it. But glass... Really??!!?? If I end up with a flat tire, you owe me a new 1!!!

The staff is always friendly. However, there is so much stuff in this store that it is overwhelming. It is hard to find what you need and most items are poorly organized. It looks and feels messy. I do feel the food area is organized.

I don't go there very often because of the condition of this fairly new store. It started out great, was clean and well stocked. Now it is disgusting inside and out. It is cluttered, dirty, and out of several items. Not very good management as people can see. The outside has garbage everywhere and is embarrassing to our small town. Corporate/Management please read this review and help this store out!

Recently moved to Athens back at the end of May, we always run there for missing ingredients or just a quick grocery trip, prices are great etc... Service on the other hand, most if not all employees are VERY rude and half of them are gross. You walk in the store is cluttered and messy and all the workers are lazy and don’t care the stores condition. Their organization is terrible, but overall it needs a whole new staff and management. Very disappointing. Also not to mention, every single time we do go there busy or not the checkout takes forever. It is either they are too busy talking to each other or not knowing how to use their equipment it gets very frustrating

I like this small town dollar general store. Usually a quick in and out stop. They carry most of the basics and frequently have special deals on clothes and pet products. I've never seen the store crowded and there is always plenty of parking. This is the first place I was able to use PayPal at the register to pay for my purchase without a card.
