I’m from Texas so I’ve never been here before. I was greeted with a smile from my server, Ashley. She was very friendly and made me feel at home. Even though there were three large parties, the service was quick. I went with the spaghetti. The sauce tasted home made, no Ragu here. The noodles weren’t overcooked like most places. For dessert I had a chocolate shake that was also very good. I highly recommend stopping in if your in the area. Ashley said that they are open 24/7.

This is ridiculous. “Stuffed French toast”. Extra crispy hash browns with CHEESE. What kind of bread even is that?? Reply to owner's response below: 7/5/22: Sure takeout is not a fair representation of a meal but you can't tell me this food looked ok to send out. The only thing that tasted decent were the eggs and bacon. I had to recook the potatoes (come on, they barely look touched. No grill marks at all) and we couldn't even eat the soggy bread. If you were preserving the meal, why wouldn't the frosting go on the side with the whipped cream and strawberry topping?? We waited a long time for this food.

This is such a great place to get your grub on. Everything is fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. The menu is large but the food is top notch for a little truck stop dinner. I had the diablo chicken last time I stopped in and it came with salsa and sour cream on the side. The meal was so good i forgot about the salsa and sour cream sides. Highly recommend this diner any time of day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all great portion sizes for an even better price and you cannot beat the speed of service. A+++

The restaurant used to be great. Never had any issues and the food was always great. However, came in today and I don't know why but this experience was awful. Our waitress was short with us for no reason. Ordered a burger and onion rings but received fries, wouldn't let me correct her about that, just walked quickly away. Other person ordered the fish basket and asked politely for a loaded baked potato. Received a regular baked potato, and the fish was way too overcooked, dry and tough. Only 3 small bites of the fish; broke the others apart to see if they were all just as overdone and they were. Asked for a manager to see about the fish, the other waitress said she was a supervisor and berated my friend about wanting to get a refund. Ultimately only took $4 off the price. We have been coming to this diner for years but after this experience we will not be coming back anymore.

The restaurant is next to the truck stop. The staff was very attentive and although the place was packed, we were able to get a booth at the window. We received our drinks quickly and our food soon followed. Good portions! Good taste!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. First, we waited 45 minutes to get sat because there was 5 of us. Once we finally got sat we noticed they sat a single person at a 5 top table. When I mentioned this to them they said that he is a regular and he asked to sit there even though it was just him during a busy morning. This was a mild annoyance but I digress. We ordered right away because we know it was going to take a while to get our food. I decided to time it because I was curious how long it takes on a weekend. 45 minutes. The food was undercooked for my meal. My bacon was basically just warmed up. Most of us had cold food. The photo you see posted is of our table when we decided to get up and walk away. I told Connie, the manager that the bacon was grossly undercooked and she said “some people like it that way”. That is not how I ordered it though. I wanted my bacon cooked as intended. So with all of our cold food we collectively decided that we were not going to wait another 45 minutes to get it replaced. We told the manager we are not paying for this and we walked out. Horrible attitude from the manager. She was very keen on telling us how loved they are (despite the hot-mess of a kitchen) and their lazy staff. Do yourself a favor and go to New Beginnings off of 54th street. The kitchen and staff there are quick and the food doesn’t take an hour to come out.

The 76th Street Truck Stop Diner was the perfect way to start our first morning in Michigan! Jet-lagged, confused and tired, and hungry, I GPS'd my way to a nearby bastion of working truckers, home contractors, and sleepy locals. The menu is deep and wide, with hearty sweet and savory choices to be had. After some deliberating I went with the country-fried steak, eggs, hash browns with cheese and onions, and, instead of toast, the biscuits and gravy. Waiting for the food - through conversations about the proper way to hook up truck batteries for jumping and to generators - I got a few moments to check out the decor and ambiançe: the dinner side is exactly out of Central Casting, and the truck stop side is all your best memories of places glimpsed during fault vacations. The food was hot, tasty, flavorful, and just the right quantity for a hungry guy. The coffee was full-bodies, hot, and constantly refilled. Connie, the server at the counter knew their offerings, had helpful opinions, and had such good cheer that my whole day is better for having met her. The Belgian waffle I brought back for the still-sleeping SO went over well, so that was another win. Summary: visually pleasant, tasty fare, sweet staff - this was a fabulous choice; highly recommended! UPDATE: A few evenings later we returned from a road trip to try a few new dishes. The Cinnamon Sugar Breadsticks - a Michigan churro - was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and satisfyingly spiced. Even better was doing it on the supplied melted butter! Damn! The Ultimate Meatloaf Sandwich was tasty but there's too much grilled bun for free amount of meat. If the bin had been much crispier it might've saved the day. The SO loved her BLT, especially the amount of crispy bacon. The coffee was once again very tasty, hot, and frequently refilled. Lexy, our server, was on it throughout the meal - attentive, helpful, and yet another reason we'll return.

I have not been to this restaurant in quite a few years and I was very impressed with their setup their staff and their food. My server was Alyssa she was awesome! The food was so good I had the biscuits and gravy scrambled eggs and tater tots. The food was so generous even though I wanted to continue eating I had to take over half of it home to eat the next day! I definitely will be back visiting this diner for other items on the menu that looked so yummy and so many different items to choose!! Update: I stopped in again today with my brother and we both really enjoyed the food. Our waitress Andi was very friendly. It's so nice to have people that like being at work and treat customers like they enjoy them being there.
