As gross as the store looks 90% of the time.. I go to this Dollar General weekly. I get that it's annoying when the self checkout clearly says "cash payments unavailable" and people try to pay with cash anyway. I went into this location with the intentions of using my debit card at the self scanner; to realize I didn't have enough to cover my total. The store manager quickly got RUDE and IMPATIENT with me, even after I apologized to him for the inconvenience a handful of times. I ended up paying for my cart of groceries with cash, so it's not like they didn't make their money from me. It's truly unprofessional to see people get mad when they have the do their job. Will no longer be doing my business here.

This place absolutely sucks, they're always rude at the counter. It's the lady with the short hair who usually works days and the manager lisa. They're horrible at costumer service. I come in there, and get the same thing almost every other day, and the short haired lady always is rude when she gets what I asked for behind the counter wrong, and tries to argue with me instead of assisting me with what I asked for, Meaning shes telling the costumer what they want. Today at 10:00am I asked the short haired woman not to put my cigars in my bag after ringing me up and she mumbled something disrespectful under her breath and wanted to call her manager to escort me out because they claimed I was the one who started being rude, but again instead of worrying about the customer whom is a regular costumer they decided to be racist and disrespectful. The incident happened exactly like you'd see on youtube where a white woman would say or do something racist and or disrespectful to a black person and when the black person gives them the reaction they want they wanna threaten to call the police. I was excited to hear her say that, Because they had no reason to call the police I hadnt said I was going to hurt anyone I just made it clear I wasnt to be played with in any way shape or form, will not be disrespected and when I come in the store as a costumer I come in there for what I'm there for, i expect the same service as everyone else and I go about my business And will continue to do so.

They obviously have some kind of grudge against me for some reason. I only come here cause it's the only store walking distance. Otherwise I know better stores with friendlier employees
