My wife gave it 5 stars but since this is my account I get to rate it as I want, so 4 stars. The food was good and the service very good. Neither was the best I've ever experienced for breakfast. We were glad Google brought us here! Highly recommend!

What a cute, cozy place to stop for breakfast or lunch. The owner and staff were friendly & seemed very familiar with the regular customers. I noticed even the cook came out from the back and delivered breakfast to one of their regular customers, she made the meal to his liking and hand delivered it. I thought that was so awesome! The food was as you'd expect from a small Cafe... simple, fresh, fast and good. I ordered the crispy chicken wrap, which over all had great flavor and was packed FULL of bacon and chicken! Yay! I also ordered the American frys, definitely reccomend trying! Lastly, they make fresh doughnuts to order! What's not to love! Stop in next time your passing through Diamondale!

Absolutely amazing chic diner, the vibe is so amazing and service is fantastic. Delicious food! Quality and flavorful. Great gluten free bread as well. The prices are great for portion size. Highly recommend it. Out of our group of 4 everyone was super pleased.

Absolutely adored this place!! Fantastic breakfast food, amazing hot donuts and the best fresh zucchini bread ever! Stopped by on my way through town for business and will make it a point to come again whenever I am in the area. Met the infamous Lory and she was the kindest soul; very personable and served us herself. Definitely recommending to friends local to the area.

Tried an omelette, biscuits and sausage gravy, a cinnamon roll, and french toast, all delicious. All of their bread products are made in house - and you can certainly taste it! The great food also comes at very affordable prices - biscuits and gravy were only 5 dollars! Definitely recommend it. Bonus: they make made-to-order donuts!

Aromatic scent of freshly baked raisin bread greeted us as we walked in. Pastries are baked onsite! Very nice, clean, and quaint place. Super ample portions. We ordered the skillet breakfast (I couldn’t even finish half!), oatmeal with dried cranberries (feeds 2.5 people), and the usual drinks: coffee, juice, milk. Lori and staff were very friendly and attentive. New customers are given a complementary cinnamon roll and cinnamon bread. Ohmygoodness, the cinnamon toast was so good and buttery!

Cute little cafe! Really enjoyed the breakfast skillet, lots of food, very tasty. The wheat toast was surprisingly good as well, I believe it's made in house. The honey glazed donut was a perfect treat for dessert. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive, I don't think my coffee was ever less than half full. Can't wait to return to try the pie 😁

One of the coolest places ever! Service was 100! Jorja and the rest of the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. The three of us stopped by from Grand Rapids and we were treated like family. I wish it was closer than 100 miles from us so we could get there more frequently. The biggest game changer of my MorningLory life is the grilled cinnamon roll. Literally changed my whole outlook on what is meaningful and delicious in this world. 🤯 Thanks for a wonderful experience. Hope to get back there soon!!

Love this wonderful village cafe and bakery so close to downtown Lansing, Michigan! I was made to feel welcome, appreciated, and right at home! The food was scratch-made, delicious, very reasonably priced and served with love!

Great little hometown breakfast spot. Their bake good are great. And the service is always friendly. We often meet there for breakfast a couple times a week.
