Super overpriced gas. Almost always 40¢ more than anything else around. Everything is overpriced inside as well. Lady at the counter was really rude and gave me an attitude when I asked if the buff chicken roll was fresh. Sorry I wanted to make sure the 9 DOLLAR buffalo chicken roll was worth it! Guess what? It wasn't! Dry and nasty... Never coming back here.

Overpriced is an understatement. Literally stealing from the hardworking American. Fuel is $4.49 (in most areas) $4.99 here. Do the math.. The selection in the store is abundant if there was anything good to say. And I understand convenience cost too. But fair is fair and this place gouges. Totally unacceptable! If you run out of gas near this place please call me. I will push you anywhere but here.

Been stopping here for many years for their on-the-go food options, but sadly, the past 5 years or so, it's just gone done hill. Over the years, the food has just gone down hill, I keep hoping one of these times, I'll stop in, and buy something and the food would taste better, but not only has the quality gone down, but the price has gone up... Sadly, as far as their food, I'll have to pass for now on... Best to stick to cheez-its, a beverage, and gas/diesel until something changes... Hate to say it, but I think the owners or managers have given up though, used to be the best stop off I75 locally, but not sure I can give it that tag anymore, I'll still stop for things, but definitely avoiding anything not pre-packaged and shipped in from a factory... I'll give them a 3 star, simply because I've been a customer there for a long while, but maybe someone that manages the place will see this and maybe taste the food options if they haven't in a long while, because sadly, and MAYBE it's just me and I am getting old and my taste buds are failing me, but none of it tastes decent for the high prices...

So this is a gas station/ market! Wow what a great find on our way to Pontiac to work 1 day! Good Luck telling me to stay away so many choices, fresh hot food, cold sandwiches, Large salads, Desserts and i haven't even made it to the deli😁 The baklava is the best I've ever had💯 oh did i mention they are open 24 hour's! So in the morning breakfast sandwich and probably much more!! You definitely must try. And the employees are very friendly as well!!

How disappointing! I’ve been coming here since it opened (I was a child), I remember speaking with the owner back then about why he named Alex’s (after his son that had passed away). This place used to have the best of almost anything you could think of. Super fresh, great prices though a little on the high end. But used to be totally worth it. Flash forward to May 2022 boy how things have changed! The prices are so outrageous now that me being the most overspending individual you’ll ever meet in your life, actually put stuff back! $11.99 for one quarter of a single slice of cake?! $10+/ pound for pasta salads. I was excited to eat it (though with some contempt) still after paying $25 for a pound of chicken wings, a half pound of macaroni salad, a three dollar container of Alessi breadsticks and one pizza roll. The chicken wings were very oily and left a burning aftertaste like the oil was old it was not fresh at all it literally had an acidic taste to it. The macaroni salad was so sour potentially from being spoiled that sour was the only flavor I could taste the macaroni some of the macaroni noodles we’re literally crusty from sitting out probably because nobody else wants to pay $10 a pound for bad macaroni salad. The place was very dirty it used to be so spotless they used to pride themselves and how nice the place was. Long story short I would never go back I’m one block away from it and Would Drive 30 minutes to the nearest grocery store without even thinking about it.

I have been going here for 10 years. I know the owners and most of the workers. I picked up shish kebabs from them and I will never get them from anywhere else. Quality beef. Sure they might charge a little more for their goods but I don't mind if it's quality. Not to mention I broke my ankle a bit ago and the cashiers would take my order and run it out to my car for me

Alex’s pizza rolls are the best, we’ll worth what you pay. We buy them often. We went today and brought it home and tried it. It went from a ten to a two. It had no sause- just stuffed with pepperoni. So I called to let them know, and the gal told me she personally made them and there was sause. She said they changed the recipe. We are done purchasing pizza rolls from Alex’s. Very disappointed for sure. And she also had a bit of an attitude about the whole thing….

My husband and I stopped in to Alex’s today and were pleasantly surprised. The market is fabulous and the Tavern is great. Brittney took good care of us and the beer and food menus were perfect. We will definitely go back, hummus was tasty.

I love this place! It is by far the best place to take a break or find an amazing snack or meal to go when on this area of I75. If you live in the area and haven't been...you need to go ASAP! Lots of homemade salads, dips, sandwiches, breads, desserts, and other prepared meals. Many snack choices including fresh fruit cups, candy, salty snacks, trail mixes. If you are near the area and need some fuel for yourself or your vehicle, this is the place to stop. Just drive past all other fast food in the area...you'll be glad you did! Very convenient, easy off/on the highway. Compared to other fast food the prices are very reasonable for a hugely better product.
