About Pinecrest Animal Hospital Pinecrest Animal Hospital was founded in the fall of 1953 by Dr. Jerry Fries in Owosso, Michigan. He was a mixed practice veterinarian and was well known in the community for his expertise and willingness to travel where the patient was – including by plane and motorcycle! Along with his family, he maintained the practice until he passed in 1983 and the practice was sold to Dr. Rich Elsesser.

Awesome staff, they really put my puppy at ease and won her over quickly. The vet was knowledgeable and really seems to love animals. They fit us in on very short notice because my puppy didn't feel well at all. I loved my experience and I will bring both my puppies here from now on.

Brought our dog in for a checkup and shots. They were so wonderful with her. They got down on the floor with her and gave her lots of pets and some treats. They were so quick and efficient with her shots that she didn't even flinch or have time to know what was going on. They looked her over very well and sent her home with some medicines. I was surprised at how affordable the clinic was!

I just recently got a new puppy and through word of mouth, I chose this vet. So far I’ve had nothing but a great experience with all the wonderful people that work there! They are always so friendly, helpful, and they treat every animal like it’s their own. Dr. Collard is the best and so kind with my fur baby. I would recommend them to anybody!

I just want to say this is the best vet clinic from my experience. The staff and vet doctors were so kind and took awesome care of my little Goldie. Everyone was so friendly and compassionate. Dr. Collard even came in on her day off to check on my Goldie and called me to let me know how she was doing. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a great and wonderful place to take your animal to. A special thanks to all who took care of my Goldie.

This veterinarian’s office is the best I’ve ever been to. I’ve had pets my whole life and I can honestly say no other office has been so caring, so understanding, so willing to help my dogs than Pinecrest and specifically Dr Kelli. The staff is always welcoming and kind. They treat my dogs like they are their own dogs. They remember me and more importantly they remember my dogs—whether it’s been a week since we’ve been there or a year, they remember what issues we’ve been having, the treatments we have tried in the past. They don’t do unnecessary shots, X-rays, or any other procedures and they explain everything before they do it while allowing me to ask all my questions. I had to say good bye to my girl last year and they were so kind to me. If you’re looking for a vet who will treat you and your pets with the utmost respect, kindness and caring, Pinecrest is the place to go.

Dr. Rangi and his office was so professional. Dr. Kenny is an innovative physician and very competent. I got such good care for my pet. Everything was done in a timely manner. I was explained every part of the visit. Best vet experience my family and I have had. Highly recommend! The facility was very well kept and clean.

Pinecrest is such a warm, welcoming, clean veterinary office. I recently switched to this office and was so happy I did so. Not only did I feel welcomed but I believe my Labrador did too. I always hear great things about this office and I am glad I saw for myself.

I love the people here! They are all so friendly, incredibly helpful, patient and understanding. Really just wonderful human beings. They were willing to make special accomodations to stay late so, my brother and his wife could see his cat after work. I started taking my cats here out of neccessity during the pandemic since, all the vets in the area were full. Now, I am more than happy to drive the extra distance to keep my babies healthy

Pinecrest has been our vets for several years. It was a sad day as I said goodbye to our beloved Pierre Marquette. The staff was so compassionate and caring. Dr. Kelly was very supportive and showed Pierre love as he took his final breath.
