In 37 years I've never had a pet that needed surgery. I was extremely nervous. River Valley Vet not only took care of my pup, they put my own worries to rest. Two weeks later and my little buddy is right as rain. Can't thank them enough for the amazing experience.

The staff are super friendly. Dr Carr strikes me as straightforward, knowledgeable, and efficient. We've been with them for over 3 years, 7 fosters dogs, plus our own two malamutes without complaint.

I just had my dog put to sleep and the process was horrible, not peaceful at all as I've seen before other where's. Pd $30 more than the Spirit Lake vet coming into town on left side. The vet then said he's never seen her before, we'll I had to bring her in for separation anxiety meds, need weight for meds, need to be seen for that, called 25 days later for med refill, couldn't find her chart, may explain why he didn't know her and in the 25 days the price went up $20. Stay in town for business, not the way they charge, sorry Sadie, that you weren't comfortable, love and will miss you.
