I previously rated this Speedway 1 star because it was my opinion that they were gouging gas prices by about 50 cents per gallon on unsuspecting people, but the situation seems to have changed for the better. The gas prices now seem to mirror what you’d find at any other nearby gas station, give or take maybe 5 to 10 cent variations. There’s a sign out front that says new owner. I only give 5 stars to really exceptional stuff but I’m increasing this rating to 3 because it’s now “average.”

This gas station is a bright new feature in our community under its new management in July 2022. It Now offers competitive pricing on gasoline, free vacuum service. And reasonably priced car washes. I'm sorry to say, but the local perception of the previous management was "gimmicky", with higher cost per gallon, and a free car wash. (This is completely based on my personal experience and word on the street about this speedway) However, many customers were just looking for gas. It's now a much more competitive offer with other local stations, and they won my business with the free vacuums.

This place is gouging gas by a dollar per gallon at this time. Avoid them at all costs. It always brings me joy to see the place empty when I drive by!! Never going to this speedway again.

Avoid this place! The gas is super expensive. I didn't realize it until after I already filled my car. Regular unleaded was $3.74. I passed two other gas stations afterwards where unleaded was $3.05 an $3.07. Huge lesson learned. I thought a difference in gas prices from one station to the next would be only around 5 cents at the most.

I normally don't care about price differences in-between different gas stations, but at the time of writing this, gas was $.65/gal more then the neighboring Sinclair. The carwash is also often closed and occasionally the card readers at the pumps don't work. Just save your money and go to the Sinclair to the West or the Holiday's to the North/South.

Ii made a $20 purchase & was to receive a free car wash. The attendant finally came out & I handed him my slip. He said you purchased gas. Yes. He asked me if I wanted extra wash. I said I want whatever I paid for. Again he asked you want extra wash? He says you tip me I do extra wash. I responded NO. Absolutely not acceptable!

Eddie the car wash attendant was extremely rude. I have unlimited washes at speedway and wasn’t aware this location was privately owned and they won’t wash your car with that program. He was beyond rude and not helpful when I asked how to leave and basically told me to pay or I couldn’t leave. When asked to speak to a manager he walked away for at least five minutes and then and came and turned the car wash on?!?!?! Then when i tried to vacuum my car before I got gas he turned it off. Needless to say I left without getting gas and will never be back. Eddie I really hope you figure out that rude attitude or you will never be happy at a customer service job!
