If you can't get to Kowalski, or Whole Foods Cub is decent. I don't prefer it as my family prefers a larger selection of Organic Products that don't break the bank. Cub does have everything from Personal care products, to over the counter medications, a pharmacy, & a large variety of different food brands! They definitely need better organic options! Their limited and more times than not the organic produce is rotting or close to expiring! The store is always clean when I've gone! It's a decent option if it's what's close to you! * I shopped at Cub today & was shocked their asking for $9.99 for fresh mozzarella that I pay $6-7 at Kowalski's & Target for. They wanted $5.99 for Nosa yogurt that I pay $3.99 @ Target for. Cub wanted $7.29 for Prune juice that I pay $5-6 @ Target for. Cub really needs to work on getting better distribution contracts or stop taking so much off the top to line the executives pockets. I'm fortunate & have a vehicle so I can go to other stores that make more financial sense for my family. But what about the individuals who cant? What about the individuals who have to walk? And in the middle of winter your not going to add on a few blocks to go to Target. Come on Cub you can do better!!

After years of coming to Cub it's no longer my go to spot to shop. There's now police presence during daytime hours. I had an officer follow me down an isle, stand in front of me at a self checkout, then linger around outside staring at me. It's so blatantly gross and even Walmart police are less invasive and uncomfortable. Prices are getting out of hand. I bought *4* potatoes yesterday for $5.43.. absolutely insane lmao.

The cashier named Ari was very rude and had a bad attitude. She yelled at me when I was putting my groceries in the bags because I was “doing something wrong.” I'm assuming she was having a bad day, but that doesn't mean you can treat people like that. Shopping at Cub Foods is not pleasurable at all, and the same goes for checking out.

This is a high volume store, and the customers wage a daily battle against it with trashing the parking lot or the store itself. But the manager is always at 100% hustle, rallying his phone-zombie cart guys, pulling out palettes for restocking, chasing out thugs/shoplifters, or interacting with the customers. The stocking is always on point and ongoing. And the stock staff understand you are shopping and have peripheral sense or give you the right of way if they are in your way. The produce can be pretty miserable in the winter, but I think that's just Cub and MN. (Garlic is either that summer / purple variant, or the wet mushy winter kind. There's only a few months it's good. And the oranges are almost never a good buy.) The front end is always well stocked with bags and clean, and the wait times are always pretty low and service is typically friendly.

Today I went to the Cub Foods in West St. Paul and the lady working in the bakery was amazing. I wanted a graduation cake with cool whip frosting. There were none so she made me one with decorations, the students' names,,, in less then 15 minutes. The cake looks great!!!! Thank you so much for going out of your way to do this for me.

I remember in the eighties and nineties the store was kind of nice because it sold some surplus and you could actually get some deals. Now there really isn't good competition. I find Cub Foods West Saint Paul has extraoridanrily bad commitment to its customers. Actually, please hurry up and fail so the community is better served. It shows when you try to get their stupid savings card, and it shows in the prices. This is not new. The produce is worse in terms of selection and quality than its competitors, and often at a higher price, honestly. I saw a container of hummus for six dollars, the cold cut prices recently are unforgiving. Even staples like beans are like three dollars a pound. There are three things that I buy at the store, when I have an alternative I will be extremely happy to move on from this store where corporate need and greed evidently supersedes customer commitment.

The deli staff always know their stuff, and are super helpful. Prices are pretty good over all, and it's rare that I go shopping here and don't find what I'm looking for (and if I can't find it, it's because it's pretty uncommon to start with)

very clean and always well stocked, never any issues here. Great selection of cuts of meat if you're looking to fire up the grill!

It's okay. Produce is so so, but you'll find most basic grocery items here! Apparently the people of West Saint Paul enjoy Cub donuts, and they have donuts here. A little short in their ethnic food aisle, but you can find a lot of different sorts of white bread and mayo. They have an adjoining liquor store, which is a bit more unique for a Cub. I've only ever purchased tonic water from there though, so can't speak to prices. The self checkout registers are plentiful, so you typically fly through the registers...

This goes out to the bakery department. I want to give them 5 stars! I went to pick up a custom order cake I had ordered today. Once I arrived to their surprise and mine the cake had cracks all over it. The gentleman working in the bakery apologized and politely asked if I had time for him to remake the cake. I said sure. He quickly and efficiently remade the cake just like I had ordered it. It turned out perfect! My 9 year old niece was over the moon with how her Birthday cake turned out!!! Thank you Cub bakery of West St Paul for making a young girls birthday during a pandemic so special!
