Excellent customer service everything was clean well lit and easy to find. Very convenient location close to my home so I'm sure I'll be going there again. The staff was friendly and professional and very well informed as well as pleasant to speak to.

My partner and I came to Sallys to grab some of our usual hair dye needs and we were blown away by how amazing our experience was! My partner is disabled and is currently training a service dog, unfortunately we have become accustom to staff and patrons of stores being rude or even hurtful about my partner having a service dog with them. The staff here were exceptional, a lovely person with short pink hair asked if it was okay to approach us with our dog to ask if we had any questions, they also helped us with picking some pet safe dye to use on our dog for Pride. I HIGHLY recommend this Sallys as a safe place for service dogs and their handlers!

Went to the store looking for a sculpting gel. All the associated were in the back. When we asked a question we were rudely told by a person she was actually on lunch so therefore answering our questions wasn't a priority, but why neither of the other two people in the store offered to help us was ridiculous. I'm from out of town and need just a little assistance. This store definitely sucks. They need customer service etiquette training.

Sally’s Beauty supply store on Clayton road has some great employees. As soon as I entered the store I got greeted very well and assisted. They where very kind and saw friendly faces. They even made sure my exit was pleasant.

I went to purchase a top of line pair of clippers. I was two minutes early and the doors were locked at 9:58am so i grabbed a coffee and came back. I purchased the clippers and the associate told me just so you know you can't return these because we have a problem with people stealing them and trying to get the money. I asked her what does that problem have to do with someone with a receipt of purchase? She said I don't know, thats our policy!

I have been shopping here for years. Today I was treated poorly by the staff. When I walked in I was ignored by a staff member who kept her back to me while I waited for her to finish messing with the shelves. Then she walked away. One employee asked if I needed help only to dump me on the employee who had ignored me. When they both decided they could not help me, they followed me around the store chatting to one another repeatedly asking if they could help me, even though, neither were comfortable doing so. Full disclosure, the employee who ignored me is black. So am I. I could tell by the way she looked at me, she was not happy having to be the one fielding questions about black hair care. I asked her white coworker about a certain leave-in conditioner before being directed to her. Both she and her coworker made me feel unwelcome in a place where I have frequently shopped and usually have an ok experience with the staff. The other employee had pink hair and would frequently pop up on either end of the aisle in the four aisle store as if I couldn't see her creeping around fixtures in the mirrors on the wall. It was like she expected me to leave since the black employee, who had blue hair, could not help me. A white woman walked in and was offered assistance only once and after she said no they left her alone. Disgusted by the treatment from the staff, I didn't buy anything and tried calling to complain but no answer. I would say that I was never going there again but I think I'll reach out to management in person or try corporate first.

I've been to this Sally's quite a few times and every time I have an awful experience. The district manager, manager and employees are always ready to give out bad customer service. Every time I go in there's a new staff, something must be wrong with management! This time I went in to return a few items and was treated very rudely. They would not return my items and blamed the computer for the problem. I asked it they tech support and they didn't answer, they just said to come tomorrow. Tina and Jackie didn't want to help me at all, my time didn't matter to them. I left very mad. I decided to try another Sally's because I didn't have the time to come in the next day. They returned the items with no issues and she was very friendly and helpful! That was the one on Creve Coeur on Olive. I'm never going back to the Clayton Sally's.
