My family and I enjoyed our time at the Buffalo Bar. The service was top notch, as was the food. My wife ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken, and she raved about it. The mashed potatoes were soft and creamy, and tasted even better with the Thyme Gravy. My son loved his pizza, and made sure nothing was left on his plate. I ordered the Lamb Shank, and that was absolutely divine. Each bit of the tender fall of the bone meat was juicy, and tasted even better dipped in the Sherry Reduction. For dessert we ordered the Bourbon Pecan Pie Brownie, and Gooey Butter Cake with Pumpkin. Both of these desserts came as a la modes. Each dessert was decadent and delicious, and we enjoyed each and every bite.

Great service and beautiful views! We got spinach dip and it was so good, we are every bit! I ordered salmon and my husband ordered the pork chop. My husband ordered it as medium, but it was completely raw inside. He could only eat the outside of the pork chop. It may have been his fault for ordering it as a medium chop, but he thought it would be cooked all the way through still. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars. Nice place!

Views are amazing, paying $10 just to get in and park ok but then we had to get on a shuttle bus to get to the restaurant,” which was annoying and odd. (we could have paid another $15 for valet) Food was ok but not worth what we paid for it, I doubt we will be back. Glad I took some pics.

The sunset view was phenomenal! The service was excellent!!! However, my husband ordered the bison and ordered the ribeye and neither were cooked as we asked and my ribeye was tough. These would have been fine at Texas Roadhouse but not for the prices we were charged. The cocktails were good but not great, as I expected. You should definitely go to the wine and bourbon bar downstairs. And they charge $10 just to get into the place without doing anything other than food and drink. We were told that the $10 is reimbursed but apparently that stopped over a year ago.

Beautiful panoramic views and delicious food. Sunset view over the lake and the canyon is breathtaking! Visit the chapel and pools below.

We had the filet and ribeye absolutely perfect. Camus wine paired well. Flourless chocolate cake paired w/ tawny port was delicious (2 forks). The views were magical and so was Tina.

This place is extremely nice! The views out of the restaurant are spectacular, and the food is amazing. I love the atmosphere here, and you can’t go wrong with anything off the menu.

Most relaxing experience! Derrick, our server at the Buffalo Bar, was outstanding, and the guys in the “End of the Trail” cellar were outstanding as well! Would definitely recommend! Hard to find experiences like this!

I have to say staying at Big Cedar was an okay experience. Our first experience was at the Buffalo Bar on Top of the Rock. That experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not talking about the food, that I couldn't get out the entire trip. I get that Big Cedar is a "resort" but everything is hugely overpriced and service is subpar. If this place was run by actual hospitality company and not a financial one I think the over all experience would have been a lot better. That said our server was amazing. I rarely like to call out people by name, mostly because change jobs but her name was Jackie and I really appreciate her. Jackie made us feel welcomed when no other person before her did. She definitely improved what was already a terrible experience to that point. The food was good, the dessert, a gooey apple butter cake with ice cream was indeed fantastic, as shown by my pictures. I have to say charging $10 for a parking toll, another $10 for entry even for staying on property and then charging high prices for the mediocre food wasn't worth it. I know the elevation is higher at this restaurant but the prices shouldn't be. The views are nice but nothing to write home about. Overall I didn't have a positive experience, besides interacting with Jackie, but that wasn't enough to save this place when everything else was sub par.

The view is amazing! No reservations. Go about an hour before sunset so you can watch it before you eat. Our server was friendly and attentive, the host was also nice. It got 4 stars because of the food. Spinach Artichoke dip was confusing. It was a runny mess that tasted of no artichokes and more like a pasta sauce. The $20 ravioli came with only 3!!! And ours were cold when arrived at the table. There was no warmth to them. My fried chicken was crispy and I did like that the vegetables where firm and not mushy soft.
