We were out camping in Freemont lakes and noticed they had a Pacifica that we liked. They delivered in to the campsite to us so we didn't have to take tons of family time to take a look at it. We loved it, they took it back and got it all prepped for us. When it was cleaned up and the paperwork was all complete I popped in for 15 minutes and signed a few things and I was off. Great experience!

I have visited about 10 dealerships in the last 10 days around the Omaha metro area. Although I hadn't had a bad experience with any of them, there definitely was the "take it or leave it" attitude present in most of my interactions. Yes, it is understandable given the state of the used vehicle market right now. However, it does take away from the car buying experience that I typically enjoy (yes, I actually do enjoy car buying). The folks over at Gene Steffy stood out as people that truly wanted me to get into the right truck for me, and not just sell a vehicle. Everyone there was great to work with and haven't seemed to be jaded by the state of car market that is affecting them and all dealers. Ed Steffensmeier was our salesman who couldn't be friendlier and was obviously on a mission to make sure I was happy. Kathy was also fantastic in looking at all my options and offering competitive financing to my own bank's. I am so glad I decided to make the drive out to Fremont. (It really wasn't as far of a trip as I thought) The vehicles I looked at were in great condition. They seem to know the previous owners who traded them in, so they must get a lot of repeat business. After this experience, I can see why. Next time I am in the market for a new vehicle, I am heading to Fremont first!

Extremely disappointed with the service we received today. Asked service department to check out why my center council drawer on my Chrysler Pacifica wouldn't close and let them know I suspected the grandkids had lost DVDs behind it. Left our vehicle to run errands in Omaha (was gone approximately 3 hours). Called dealership when we got back to Fremont and was told the fee to fix the drawer and remove the DVDs. Declined the option due to the cost. Arrived at dealership and was told we were being charged 1/2 of the total fee because the technician had the center council apart and was fixing it (without our approval). When my husband pointed out that we did not approve this, we were told the technician had put at least 30 minutes of troubleshooting the problem that I had already advised them existed. They also stated they had already retrieved some of the DVDs which was a blatant lie. We currently pay for the lifetime warranty and follow the rules for servicing at the dealership. Be wary of what you're told here. My daughter was a service advisor for a large dodge, jeep and Chrysler dealership in Lincoln for years and she'll be assisting in a letter directly to Gene Steffy about the service (or lack thereof) that we received.

Good dealership. I bought my first RAM truck there about 3 years ago, and drove up every time from Lincoln to have it serviced. Unfortunately the sales manager wasn't able to offer a very good discount on my new truck order so I'll be picking my new 3500 up in Louisiana. That said, if things get back to normal and they can offer competitive pricing to what you can get if you're willing to drive, I would not have a problem buying another truck there, or having it serviced.

Nobody ever really enjoys having to buy a new car. Salesmen can be pushy, dumb or rude, but not here. Everyone was friendly and polite and knowledgeable about the product they were selling. I got about halfway home with my new car when I realized I left my sunglasses in the little compartment above the windshield in my old car. I turned around to go back and see if I could still get them. My old car was not where I left it, but was around in back. The sales lady, Shaunelle, walked me back to it so I could retrieve my sunglasses. I think I probably could have got a better (lower) price on this car, however. Guess I should have asked. Too bad I didn't. My bad.
