What a nice place! A ton of quality items like shoes, slippers, mens and womens clothing. Friendly staff if you need help with anything. Definitely worth stopping at if your in the area.

I had some late Christmas shopping to do and I arrived at Hayward's Trading Post as they were just closing. A really nice lady helped me pick out a beautiful peacoat for my wife, even trying it on to help me get the right size. Thanks you for a fantastic last minute shopping experience!

Fun place with way more items than you'd expect. Very friendly staff that was eager to help. When looking at slippers they went into the basement to find the size I needed. It's great to support local businesses during these difficult times with COVID-19 as apposed to doing online shopping.

We always stop in at Hayward’s whenever we are up in New Hampshire, I’ve been stopping in for about 30 years now . Greatest selection especially with their Minnetonka moccasins. They have the sweetest most helpful staff . Looking forward to my next visit .

I was searching for a men's real leather jacket. The arms of jackets tend to be long on me, so I really wanted a place where I could try them on instead of the hassle of ordering & returns just to try something. Google wasn't helping me find many options in NH. The only real options I could find were at Macy's and they only had 2 styles in stock that I could try (according to their web site). I kept searching for other potential options using Google Maps and aside from the big box stores It was highlighting things way down in Boston. I zoomed in and suddenly up popped Hayward's Trading Post -- about 5 miles away from my house. Apparently, Google has trouble properly suggesting businesses without a web site. Fortunately, some posted photos indicating that they had a good selection of jackets, so we made a quick trip to check it out. What a great leather store1 Large selection of Leather Jackets (Men's & Women's) in various styles. They also have vests, pants, Moccasins, boots belts, cowboy hats, and a small section of shoes. They have leather work gloves as well as driving gloves. There are NH gifts (T-shirts, puzzles, etc.) and Pendleton Wool blankets (around $300). My wife said, "Wow this the first nice 'Trading Post' I've ever been in." They typically have the tom-toms, 'native American' items (made in China), and a bunch of plastic souvenirs. I found a nice leather jacket with a removable lining for $299. So if you need some nice-quality leather items, you definitely should check it out. Hopefully, this detailed review will help push Hayward's Trading Post up in the search rankings for "leather jackets near me"! Since I was focused on my shopping, I unfortunately, didn't take any photos new to share of the store so you only get to see what I purchased. You can always call, I'm sure the friendly staff would be glad to tell you if they have what you are looking for.

Awesome place to shop! It's not just a shoe store, that have almost a ton of souvenirs like New Hampshire Maple Syrup and nice fragrances and soaps. It's always a pleasure to visit when I do, the employees are sweet, helpful, and pleasant. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I absolutely love this place. Awesome people work there, wonderful customer service, they have all the nice New Hampshire things, I bought my boots and wallet, and hat here, awesome selection of leather things, from jackets, to dusters, to hats, wallets, boots, moccasins, they have it. Awesome gifts and nostalgic candies. Always friendly and ALWAYS a good experience.
