Prices are very good. Always a great deal on chicken or pork. Bakery has improved greatly. Overall Assortment improves frequently. Managers are great, had a price issue with a turkey, he honored the ad without a fuss. We'll be back weekly. No paper for bagging, plastic bags are very, very thin. Update: the produce section was remodeled. Looks good. Not sure why they had to move everything from the left and place on the right. I was so used to walking in with a routine and now I'm out o'wack. Produce prices went up but they've been very good for a long time. Other prices are rising but again they have held them down for a long time. Kudos for that. If you join the club and shop deals you can really save money. I create my menu's according to what I bought fresh and on a deal. 4/5/22 update Store stock levels continue to improve but every so often many shelves are empty. I'm attributing this to sales starting on Thursday and by Sunday afternoon products are sold out. I'll assume this store just can't hold that much backup stock. Denville store seems to have more on the shelves but, I don't know the sales volume of each store. I'll have to check Denville on a Sunday. Sign up for Acme discount card - at no cost - and get some deal prices that are cheaper then the weekly ad prices. After reviewing prices in several supermarkets, I must say the quality and price at Acme beats the competition. 6/2 Stock levels holding well. Holidays still put a large dent in inventory but they recover in several days. Inflation has finally taken a large bite out of the discounts. Prices have gone up in many departments now. But, if you can shop opportunistically and just shop the weekly ad or the specials they send you from being a member, you can still walk out with 25 - 35 % discount on your order. 8/01 Saw an employee removing green mold strawberries from their containers and filling the container with strawberries from another container that had green mold berries to make a complete container. What about the contact that the bad berries made with the container and other berries. Is this a legitimate process that farms and stores do? I'm not buying anything that is open and not sealed.

Clean, convenient & close to home. However, the dairy & produce I purchased weren't that great. The milk went bad before thw expiration date, and the grape tomatoes & portabella mushrooms were not as fresh as they appeared.

The scanner beeps if u don't immediately put the item in ur carry bags. I scan all items, I happen to have my own half consumed bev from my car in the cart. The one woman look s at and says what about that. For crying out loud get some proper security like other retailers have established. It gives the shopper a very uneasy feeling. My advise go on in, get what u need and get out. No customer appreciation here Maybe Acme needs to look at how Target, Stop and Shop. Handle self checkout.

Back to BJ’s, 8 miles away, but it’s ok and yes I do get my Organic there. ACMA Boonton Service Sucks for brown people. Indian stores or BJ’s store offer better service to Brown people like me.

Looks OK, prices are fine. Still feels like the A&P when I walk through it. They have a Starbucks inside, this l like. They turn the lights off on the cashier area, this way no one goes to the line. Service area does it and the girl at the 1st check out line did it too. I asked her why she turned it off she wouldn't answer, I told her that's why myself and others didn't go to her line, no light on. Another thing, when you hand the receipt to somebody that just paid you shouldn't you say thank you? I'm not saying thank you because you gave me my change or because you gave me the privilege of buying something in this Acme store. When you hand me my receipt and you say here you go, that's not very nice, that's not good business.
