Here's my long term experience with PODS. They delivered it in March. With lots of dirt on the floor of the pod. Pretty disappointing, as it should have been delivered to me clean. The driver who initially delivered the pod seemed experienced and was polite. Fast forward this past weekend. A day before PODS was to pick up the unit, they called asking for the final payment to be paid to avoid the pickup from being cancelled. I clarified with their customer service rep on the phone if this was the only payment remaining. He said yes this is last and final payment and the account would have a $0 balance once it is paid. Of course the payment was made in full. I also told the customer service rep not to save my card number as the account will no longer be used. He said he did not save it. And yet not even an hour later, they charge me about $125 (completely unauthorized). When I called in to speak to have this corrected, they placed me on hold with accounts receivable, only to wait 40+ minutes and have them hang up on me before even speaking. And to make matters worse, their driver at the time of pick up, damaged my driveway, plus a tree and left the branch sitting on the fence. Which also damaged my fence. Their driver did not bother calling to inform me they damaged my driveway, tree and fence. Completely unprofessional service. Avoid at all costs.

A bit pricey but the service is there and their drivers were all great, especially Chris I. who delivered my two containers at my new address in Florida. They put the containers exactly where and how I wanted them and even gave me some helpful tips, very professional.

Drop off window was 12 to 3 on Saturday. 3:30 I get a call they’ll be there by 12 and that they can’t drop the pod without a permit. I said no one told me to get a permit. They said not my problem. Horrible customer service. Had to pay a neighbor to use their driveway and change all moving plans.

Had a 16' pod scheduled to be delivered july 18th. I scheduled it 3 weeks in advance. I was notified by text the day before it would arrive between 9 am-12 pm on the 18th. Got a call at 12:48 from Christina apologizing because the company had an undisclosed problem and they would have to reschedule for 4 days later ! 45 minutes after thier 4 hour window i get this call! Christina claimed this was the earliest. I had all things prepared and ready for this 16' container to be moved. I did not expect to have to move all this stuff again. I was livid and she said there is nothing I could do but said I could speak with a resolution team associate. I asked for that number she said there isnt a number they would get back to me within 3-4 business days! After much complaining she thinks she could get me a container by tuesday. THINKS .....so I would find out later in the day and forfiet any possibility of thursday. I said how do I know if itll come Tuesday she said theyll let me know. So what happens if it wont happen she said they reschedule for a later date! I need it asap. She said shell schedule for thursday then! Pods is unreliable and should be scheduled only if you do not truly need a specific day. They have no policy in place to work with their customers and nonchalantly reneg on their promise with no more than an im sorry. Stay away from this company totally unreliable and do not care about thier customers convenience or oblogstions at all.

Moving and storage works--but there is alot of self-service in using their website. And phone support has very long wait times (exceeding 10 minutes). PODS can save you money--but you need to factor in the value of your time as well

Small to large Pods. Pods are moved by very experienced associates. This will give their customers a sense that what they place in the Pods will be safe and secure. Enjoyed watching them move them with precision and safe.

Wonderfully professional because of the people! The drivers especially, were wonderful. We had a steep driveway with a curve in it. They took such care and were so friendly! We tipped them big because they went beyond the expectations of service. Pick up was just as good at both ends.

I had a really good experience with pods. Their customer service was quickly available from start to finish. During transportation none of my stuff broke which was a very pleasant surprise. Overall very happy with my move thanks to pods.

We used pods from April to November for our buy/sale. It was the worst 8 months of dealing with them I’ve ever had. Sooo many things to complain about but the biggest was their horrible customer service reps. They have no accountability. No supervisor or managers exist so it’s no wonder. They just put you back in the automatic message loop if they don’t know how to help you and then you get to start all over. The other big issue was their refusal to move our pods to our new location. Their “less than 50 miles” means from their depot, not from your first to second location. We moved 33 miles and they refused to just bring our stuff to our new location. Instead they hauled our THREE pods all the way to their depot in Franklin WHICH TOOK A WEEK and then CHARGED US HUNDREDS of dollars to do so! THEN they refused to pick up the last pod when they were empty. They actually told us they had picked it up already. I said, well, I have a big container i my driveway labeled PODs so you didn’t pick it up. Took a MONTH to get them to finally pick it up. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I’ve ever had with a company. You are better off renting a uHaul because when PODS is done with you, you will have overpaid big time and still won’t have your belongings. Avoid them at all costs.
