Terrible customer service. After years of being a customer here I am bring charged a cancellation fee of one of my packages even though I have three other packages with them. Hailey a manager was more than unprofessional. Laughing at me over the phone with her “general manager “ Rebecca in the background. I cannot wait until the rest of my services are up. I will no longer go here after that. I would leave now but I know they won’t give me my money back. Service: Waxing

I went here regularly before covid. I revisited recently and will probably keep coming back. I forgot about the 12 wax passes I bought pre pandemic and the service is even better now than it was pre-covid!

Left with burnt skin. Red and irritated for days, now my skin is completely peeling. Unacceptable if you ask me. My eyebrows were burnt to the point that people kept asking me if I was wearing eyeshadow. Not the first time this happened here. And two different waxers. I have waxed many times outside of these two instances and did not have this reaction. Services: Brazilian waxing, Waxing

I’ve been a customer at EWC centers for a few years now. I’ve gone to the Garwood location once before while visiting family in the area. I decided to go back this weekend for a bikini wax. The girls at the front were very nice but the waxing experience was far worse than last time. My waxer was cold, rushed, and barely said hello. She didn’t ask if the temperature of the wax was too hot. She said nothing to me during the 15 minute wax other than “all done”. I saw a small spot she missed after she slabbed lotion on me. She was cleaning up the paper before I got off the table. I was bothered that she didn’t bother to check her work or ask me to check to be sure I was happy with the results. I won’t be returning to this location. Service: Waxing

I had been going to EWC for almost two years, and up until recently, had had very positive experiences. However, after the last experience, I will not be returning. I arrived at my appointment and checked in via text. As I was sitting in the parking lot, the reception desk texted me that the waxer, Mya, I had been scheduled with (and had been seeing for the better part of a year) was stuck at the doctor, and asked if I would be able to see someone else. Sure, no problem, things happen. I understood, and instead of rescheduling, just went in since I was there. I saw Ciara, and she was wonderful! She was kind professional, and did a great job. I was on my way out, and lo and behold, there was Mya bringing in another client! I greeted her and said, Hey! Did everything turn out alright at the doctor? She looked completely confused, then looked at reception and looked very embarrassed when she looked back at me. I was really uncomfortable and felt like something was happening, but wasn't sure entirely what was going on. I went to pay for my service and schedule my next one, and the reception desk didn't even offer if I wanted to see Mya, who was my regular waxer, and just put me on Ciara's book. I even asked, "Could I see Mya?", and they said, "Well, you've seen Ciara, and you seemed happy." To make a long story short, I don't know what was going on, but something was really bizarre. Given the intimacy of the services provided, I found it appalling and very insensitive that clients are tossed around from waxer to waxer without any kind of thought given to our comfort level and rapport we may have established with one person over another. Additionally, I was a good client. I showed up on time, left my 20-25% tip, and was on my way. So, if there was a reason for me being dropped from one waxer and thrown over to another one, I wish management would have reached out to me and addressed it with me like an adult and an informed consumer, rather than just put me somewhere else, assume it would be okay, and assume I wouldn't notice that I was not given the option to book with my preferred waxer. I won't be going back, and I will also be sharing with my friends that their comfort level with a waxer won't matter, their choices and preferences won't matter, and no explanation will be provided to them.

Once you walk in you are greeted with positivity from the receptionists and all of the waxers are extremely professional and I felt comfortable going to anyone. Most recently, I’ve gone to Courtney and she was awesome! Helped me feel comfortable and did a great job. The center is clean and I feel safe that they are upholding the highest safety standards during a pandemic. Would recommend! Service: Laser hair removal
