I was having an issue with my garage door opener, and Michael came the next day. He was professional and didn’t push me to purchase items I didn’t need. I thought I’d need a new garage door opener and he explained that this wasn’t necessary. Very quickly, he fixed my problem, and because of his honesty, saved me money, too! In the process of adding a new remote panel, he discovered the the piece was weak, so he allowed it to remain so I have a functional door in the meantime while we wait for the new panel. I’d recommend Michael!

The other day my garage door stopped opening. I called another provider first; i explained to them that my garage door spring seemed to have separated from its "cone". They wanted to charge me to come out and replace the entire spring. I called Michael, when he came he realized the issue only required reattaching the spring to the cone and tightening everything. He did the work, was very friendly and because he did what was necessary, saved me money. I will use him again and would recommend My Service to anyone who needs work done on their garage door.

Got exactly what I hoped for… Our automatic garage door started having trouble opening and closing and I finally had to switch it to manual operation in order to get it closed. I was looking for a 1-truck repair business, located in our community, with consistently great reviews. I liked what I read about My Service on Google (consistently favorable reviews over several years), so I spoke with Michael, who arrived on time the next day. After making some repairs and adjustments, it became clear to Michael and me that the 30 year old opener was the problem and needed to be replaced. Michael gave me a quote to provide and install a new opener with a belt drive (instead of chain) that I thought was very reasonable, and he installed everything two days later. Throughout the process, Michael was friendly, communicative, professional and thorough. After programming the remotes and keypad—and removing all of the old parts and packaging for the new parts—he lubricated all of the old hinges, rollers, and springs to make sure they would work well with the new opener. He had promised I’d be impressed with how quiet the new opener and belt drive would be—and he truly delivered. I’m very happy with the new opener and with Michael’s work. I highly recommend you call him if you need help with a garage door.
