Zaffron provides a restful location for quiet dining. One of the few places that allows you to relax. The gazpacho is amazingly fresh. The bowls are huge and we could not finish. A cup is enough for most to accompany the other tasty lunchtime delights. We had a good experience with the Zaffron Tasting Plate for a variety of hummus types, olives, cheese, and baba ganoush to eat with pita or vegetables.

Finally checked this restaurant off my list. I really enjoyed the freshness of the food and it made for a nice light lunch.

Decent atmosphere and friendly people. Service was unobtrusive and reasonable prompt. Food flow was a little on the slow side. The seafood dishes were seasoned well but the lamb and other meat dishes lacked seasoning. The pasta was cooked well but the sauce was on the watery/oily side which gave it a slimy texture.

First time here and I have to say I really enjoyed it as the waitress we had was great and Rocco was the BEST!! I had the surf and turf kabob and it was delicious! I definitely will be back! 5 stars!

Rocco the owner is awesome and very welcoming! The baba ganoush and hummus’ were awesome. The slow roasted lamb shank was incredible. Fall off the bone tender, I didn’t even need a knife. The chilean sea bass was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here.

Came in on Saturday for lunch and was seated immediately. The staff are welcoming and very friendly here. I ordered the Spanish octopus cocktail and the New Zealand mussels. Both dishes were fabulous. The octopus was so tender and the vegetables were fresh. The sauce had a perfect amount of kick to it. The mussels were also seasoned perfectly and had zero grit to them. They were amazing and loved the garlic bread that came with it to soak up the sauce. Definitely will be back.
