READ THIS BEFORE GOING TO THIS PLACE. If you do, CHECK YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE YOU PAY. I came here a couple weeks ago to celebrate a friend’s engagement and I’ve never had a worse experience than this one. The view is great and all but the service was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. First of all, the food took a million years to come to us. We got some of our order after one hour, and waited a little bit thinking the rest would come, but it didn’t. I’m a very patient person, so I let it slide and just let someone who worked there know that we’re still missing some of our food. After another hour, some more food came but still not our entire order. I made the mistake of leaving my tab open and when I went to close it out.. there was a bunch of double charges and even charges for the food we never received. I thought to myself, “it’s fine.. It’s just a little mistake.. let me just ask them to fix it.” When I asked them to take a look VERY NICELY, a bartender who never even took the table’s order started yelling at me for a good 20 minutes saying I was lying and looked like she was ready to fight me. I’m out celebrating my friends’ engagement, why would I be out here trying to cause a scene?! One of the ladies working there was a tad bit nicer and did fix the issue, but the other girl never apologized for getting loud with me. Here I was trying to explain the situation and she was talking over me, and the entire bar was listening in. I still left a tip because I’d feel bad if I didn’t, but boy I really shouldn’t have. Horrible service, never going back and will most definitely let all my friends and family know how awful the service is.

I think is a great place. But when it comes to pay to see fights I am not there for rules should change, I.e I'm on the rooftop with 6 friends for 3 hrs consuming, bartender comes fight is about to start and you will need to pay 10each to stay we all left and went to LoFi, Today I was there by to have a margarita and few shots when I entered bartender asked to pay $10 because of the fight that I missed and was about to finish in an hr, again was not there to see a fight ,left and went to hoboken,

Finally checked out the rooftop at Paulies, it was awesome, great views to chill with some friends, they serve food but its a bit delayed, no problem tho because you can sip on a frozen margarita in the meantime

Where can I start? Last night I went to this place with probably 10 of my friends, the rooftop is nice and has an amazing view, the food was very good and the drinks, even though they were pricey, were decent. The worst happened at the end when we were about to close tabs and pay. The lady, who she said was the owner, came up with 3 extra tabs, one of them opened with my name and two other names we didn’t know who they were. She said that people from our table opened tabs and were ordering but she doesn’t remember faces or who did it. First of all, I would never do that! If I open a tab, I am going to make sure to close it and pay for it, and my friends are also the same way. It was embarrassing the way she talked to us, pretty much saying we are lying and that we don’t want to pay and there’s a God watching everything. I came to this place to celebrate my birthday but I am so disappointed with the way me and my friends were treated, I have never received this kind of treatment In any place I have been to and I will just say this, I’m not coming back to this place and I will make sure none of my friends go there and PEOPLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS BEFORE PAYING. Management here must do better.

I moved to Jersey City in April and have gotten Paulie’s pretty consistently ever since arriving. I moved to the east coast in 2019 and became obsessed with how good y’all’s pizza is out here… so I’ve tried literally every single pizzeria in Jersey city that’s on seamless or Uber eats and Paulie’s is always the best! Love everything about this place.

Checked out Paulie's rooftop seating area. If we had not seen it advertised elsewhere we would not have known it existed! We didn't see any signage in their storefront. We had to ask the bar tender how to get up to the roof and she led us down a few store fronts to a residential entrance to access it. Despite being a nice summer Friday night there was plenty of seating available and the vibe was rather relaxed. Their frozen drinks were delicious and the views were amazing. Would recommend!

Gorgeous view of the Manhattan skyline from the roof top bar. They specialize in delicious frozen cocktails and will bring yummy pizza and apps from the kitchen downstairs if you get hungry

This place has a rooftop bar that's a few doors down. No frills. But the views of NYC are INSANE AMAZING GORGEOUS! There's a series of picnic tables. The menu is pretty expansive. Highly recommend!
