For the most part everyone is very helpful, and the store is well stocked. Don't try, however to approach the check out woman with a problem with a product. The dismissive attitude and not even listening to your issue will make you wonder why you didn't travel the extra 3 miles to Home Depot, when you were trying to support local businesses, which I believe in. Maybe I should rethink that?

I needed one 18 inch cable tie. Unfortunately they only come in packs of 50. I asked a clerk if they had smaller packages. The response was no but he said wait a minute we have a bag that is open for store purposes only. He brought me to the manager and asked her if he could give me one. She replied with a stern "no" without even looking up from what she was doing. I even offered to pay for one. No response. Not exactly your "Helpful Hardware Person". Taylors Hardware in Belmar was more than accommodating. They live up to their "True Value" advertising.

Second time I’ve shopped at this store and the woman at the register was completely nasty for no reason- like she’s unstable. I usually like to support a local business instead of a box store, but never again! Avoid at all costs.

They always have the best lump charcoal no matter the season. Best grilling section in the area. The staff are really nice and very helpful.

Purchased a Traeger Grill from them this past weekend and the staff could not have been any more helpful. They made sure I bought all of the extras I would need and helped me get everything in our SUV and off we went. Really nice to deal with and ver helpful. I highly suggest them for all Traeger products and questions.

What a great experience. I was looking for a specific Traeger grill and they had it in stock. I was looking for a random machine screw (none of the big guys had them in stock) and A's had them! The guy who helped me with my .50 cent purchase and the guy and gal who helped me with my 500.00 purchase were all awesome. About a half hour drive, but I'll definitely be a return customer

Amazing hardware store for quick stops. They pack an unbelievable amount of "stuff" into a small area, making it quick and convenient. Prices are slightly higher than big box stores but reasonably competitive and the convenience has major value. I end up stopping by a few times a month for odds and ends.
