someone came to our house when we first got here. i let them know we already had a company and would talk to them. Gave them basic info, they gave us oil without permission and then we paid a huge bill. they didn't have our social security number which I was told was needed for service. I called and no one ever got back to us after I paid the bill. Not nice to scam people who just moved in and didn't know better. Wish this didn't happen because we have a plan that will be up in soon with another company and cant even try these guys out later.

i was very unhappy with my oil company and left them after 15 years. A friend referred me to Dixon and I have been so happy with the quality of service and reasonable pricing which was not the case with my former company. Nothing but a great experience with these people.

I have been a customer of Dixon Energy for 20 years. During that time I have always bought my heating oil from them. Heating oil prices are competitive and, more importantly, deliveries are prompt and arrive when promised, even when I've waited until the last minute to place an order. In addition I had them install a new furnace and a new central air conditioning unit. Regardless of the requirement, my interactions with everyone at the company - from the extremely courteous woman who answers the phone (who has been there for 30 years) who fields my requests for heating oil deliveries through the service technicians who have maintained my furnace - (oftentimes on an emergency basis), to the sales associates who helped sell and install my furnace and A/C unit - have been flawless. Service calls are answered by technicians who are polite, knowledgeable and professional. I am 100% happy with the performance of my furnace and A/C unit. The real clincher are the times I did have to call for emergency service - never a fun proposition in the dead of winter - before I had a new oil tank installed, which solved my problems. Responses were always fast and always resolved the problem. Knowing I had Dixon Energy to rely on gave me peace-of-mind that was invaluable. I have recommended them to friends and neighbors and will continue to do so in the future.

Excellent service. I have been using Dixon Energy for several years and am an automatic oil delivery customer. I have never run out of oil. Always prompt with their deliveries. Even better is their equipment service. I have never waited more than a few hours after I have placed a service call for my A/C or furnace. I had my A/C go out on one of those 90 degree days and they were there within two hours. Same with my furnace in the winter.

Since I moved into my new home, I've had spectacular support from Dixon Energy. Literally Day 1, we were moving boxes and a local rep of theirs came over to tell me about a new homeowners discount and discounted service plan. He even gave me his personal # should I ever have an issue. Glad to say I never have called him b/c I haven't needed to. My furnace has needed repairs over the years and I always call Dixon to take care of them. They are prompt, professional, and ensure my issue is resolved that day. I've had an instance to where after they left, the issue came back later that day. They immediately came back to my house, same day, to troubleshoot and fixed it for good (wire wasn't making good contact). I'll continue to trust my heating to Dixon Energy.

Their service has always been quick and reliable. This past winter we had a small oil leak and they were fantastic guiding us through this potential disaster. We have been using them for 9yrs and have never had an issue. We use their monthly budget plan for oil deliveries so I never need to worry about calling and we have never come close to running out of oil. We also have the yearly service plan bundled into the budget plan. Pricing is reasonable and has actually dropped based on our usage. They are prompt when service is needed and extremely responsive via phone. We ended us using them because we needed an emergency delivery when we first purchased our house and our regular company had told us it would be at least 4 days before they could deliver. We called Dixon and they were at our home in 2 hours and we switched to them immediately. One of the best decisions we ever made.

As 20+ year customers for oil delivery and oil burner maintenance and repair, we highly recommend Dixon Energy. Their oil burner service plans have remained a great value for our old home's original heating system, which their expert technicians have kept running like a charm. They also replaced our outdoor oil tank with an indoor unit (installed in the former coal bin--a tight squeeze but successful), and we recently called them to repair our troublesome A/C system, installed by someone else. Their service estimates have always been priced average or lower compared to other companies and we wouldn't trust the work to anyone else. Service as well as office staff are consistently reliable and considerate. Work and costs are clearly explained and all our questions patiently answered. One company that's a pleasure to deal with!

I have been a happy Dixon Energy customer since they wonderfully took over for our previous Able Energy company that went defunct with a big explosion in Newton NJ in March 2003. I was skeptical that Dixon would be able to continue delivering to that many new customers. But they did & also offered us oil & A/C service contracts and automatic delivery, both of which I am pleased with. They also answer their phones and are promptly responsive to billing questions. I highly recommend them.
