Went to go put air in one of my tires and the guys did all my tires for me, then I rolled over to get gas and they cleaned my windshield too. They were very kind and courteous and I was really happy with the extra mile! Thanks guys

Beware - they will trick you into spending money when you do not have to. Called AAA over a flat tire, and they sent Al's Sunoco to fill it with air. I had already made an appointment to Costco to get my tire switched out, but the mechanic insisted we drive to their shop so he could plug my tire. We asked if there was a charge, and he responded "no, it's just a flat." We then come to find out they do charge for it and it will not be covered by AAA. They chalked it up to a "misunderstanding" and aggressively denied that they would claim the plug was a covered service. No apology, no customer support. If you need AAA in the area, ask them who is coming to help. If it is Al's Sunoco, say no thanks - send someone else. They take advantage of you where they can, and I see other reviews here that mirror our experience. I will never trust them again. Go elsewhere and save yourself the pain.

I went in there on Sunday when most of the service stations are closed for a flat repair service. Two young men operating the facility were very courteous. They fixed my flat in less than 15 minutes, checked tire pressure in other tires as well. I highly recommend this place to service your car.

Took my car to Al's today because my tire was nearly flat. While inflating I noticed a large screw had impaled the tire. I walked in the office and let them know and within 10 minutes they had it plugged and I was on my way. Not the first time they have helped me either. Great local business with a great staff!!

I was stranded on Rte 1 almost in the intersection. Tow truck from Al’s Sunoco arrived. He was very pleasant, drove me back to their location. Everyone was very nice. I left my car over night so they could let me know what happen and they called next morning letting me know and everything was repaired by 12pm( like that incident never happened)!. I’ve never had that experience before and never want too but I definitely recommend their shop! Thanks

Took the car in for a state inspection on July 15, 2020 since we were due. The guy there was not wearing a face covering in the indoor section of the shop, and no employees were wearing one outside either while interacting with customers. I asked, "do you have a mask you can wear?" and he responded with "don't start with the mask thing". This is in blatant violation of NJ Executive Order 122, horrible customer service, and shows complete disregard for keeping the community safe. My family has been going there for 20 years for all auto needs but will go elsewhere, I suggest yours does too. Over 130,000 people dead in the US, with so many more hospitalized, out of work, struggling to take care of their families... and this business can't be bothered to pull a piece of fabric over their faces for one minute.

My battery died and I was ok hold with the insurance company for almost 45 mins and then with the repair shop for another 45. Finally I gave up and called Al. They sent a tow truck to give me a jump, I drove over and they changed the battery-all in 45 mins! Simply amazing! I know where I will be get my oil changes done from now on!

The first few times i used this place was good. But in December 2016 they quoted me $1700 to replace an automatic power steering motor. I didnt know much about that piece but i was pretty certain that was out of tbe ball park. Monday i got it done by another shop for $825. The shop i went to replaced the steering column, auto motor and wheel alignment for that price. The car runs beautifully. They were gonna rob me without a gun. SMH

My mom and dad were visiting last weekend from Pittsburgh when they were stranded by some sort of transmission problem. Not going into or out of gear and it vomited all the transmission fluid. So we had it towed to Al's Sunoco on Sunday afternoon. They said that they would take a look at it Monday morning, but that they were really busy this week. We explained that my parents were in from Pittsburgh, and needed to get back home ASAP. Their team evaluated the problem and determined that it wasn't the tranny, it was the radiator and the tranny cooling lines in the radiator. They had us back on the road by 1:30 Monday afternoon for a reasonable price. They were friendly, happy to help, actually took the time to talk to us on the phone about the problem and solution, etc. I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the experience! ir radiator blew in the Toyota Sienna minivan, and the tranny cooling lines in the radiator lost all the tranny fluid.
