Unprofessional staff. Brought my car in to have a tire looked at for loosing air. I have a sports car and when the tech pulled my car in he revved the engine several times to hear the exhaust as if it was his own car the manager had to ask him to stop and told him that i was sitting in the waiting room and they shouldn't be doing that while a customer is present. I wonder what they do when a customer is not there. The tech stripped my lug nuts and tried to tell me i was responsible to replace them i was lucky to have some extra with me but in the end i ended up not getting anything fixed I didn't want them touching anything else on my car. They do not know what they are doing at this shop such a waste of time.

My overall experience at Pep Boys has been pretty hit or miss, but I encountered great service at this particular location. I went early in the morning to get a tire patched. The technicians and sale representatives were transparent about timeframe, cost, and repair needs. It seems like they were a bit understaffed and backed up but they were great about keeping my repairs on track. I would definitely go back again!

This place is great. It was my second time going here first time was for tire plugs and this time was new tires. I went in and told them my budget and Tony did everything to get me in the best tires at my budget. I'm actually so happy at how quick and painless they made this. I cannot say enough great things! Tony and Larry are so kind and there was a new guy who didn't really talk but you're cool too. Thank you again everyone! 10/10 recommend.

My girlfriend took her SUV to Verona pep boys for new tires and a wheel alignment. Pep boys actually had the best prices so it was a no brainer to take the SUV there. A few hours after drop off she received a call stating that the vehicle needed new brake pads and rotors for all brakes. She immediately told me this and confirmed that suggestion with the person on the other end of the phone call. I told him to not do anything except the tires and wheel alignment that was requested. The problem that I am having is that I personally installed new rotors and brake pads this past October no more than 6 months ago. Being a past mechanic for the military I am well versed in doing brakes so much so I do them for all friends and family. When I went into the store and expressed my concern the person behind the counter confirmed that brakes and rotors were on the invoice as being needing repair. I told him that they were recently replaced and there must be a mistake. He went into the garage bay for about 10 min and came back to tell me I was right and the brakes are fine and the tech left for the day and couldnt be asked about the mistake. I sat with this all day, spoke to mechanic friends and could not let this go. If my girlfriend agreed to the work it could have been a $1000.00 mistake on the part of PEP BOYS VERONA. PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU ARE TOLD YOU NEED ANYTHING BESIDES TIRES OR ALIGNMENT GET A SECOND OPINION. IT MIGHT SAVE YOU A LOT OF MONEY . My next step is corporate. UPDATE while examining the receipt it turns out we were charged $223.95 for tire installation package when it was only supposed to be $123.96 also the charged a MISC shop supplies for $9.99. Something is not right with this shop. Hopefully Ill get the bottom of this soon. Will update!!!!!

Brought my fleet vehicle in for a normal service and the guys here did a great job. They called to keep me informed about what was going on at every step of the way and were even nice enough to fix an issue with a piece of material that was hanging off the bottom of my vehicle. Would definitely recommend coming here for all of your car needs

Was able to leave my car for oil change, first synthetic oil change was told $108 and paid $88 after coupon. Included Rotating tires *didn't know I had wheel locks, but Larry was able to work with it* fluids filled and complimentary inspected tires and brakes lights etc. More than I expected! Thanks boys

I made an appointment online for a next day oil change/fluid check. Tony at PepBoys was extremely accommodating, took my car earlier then my appointment time, called me within an hour with the inspection report, and thoroughly explained to me some overdue maintenance that my ten year old Subaru will need. Fast service, friendly staff, pleasant experience. I will be coming back for my next service and maintenance.

I came here to replace all 4 of my tires after comparing several places in NJ. I scheduled my appointment in the morning (for the same morning), I arrived an hour later and was completely finished within 1.5hrs (that's including my tire alignment). I decided to choose this place versus others based on the positive reviews on Google and luckily I had the same 5-star experience, so I want to "pay it forward" for the next person considering this place as an option. Go! I got a great deal with great fast service. Tony and Larry were helpful, honest and funny with their front-desk and over the phone service. Thank you both and a big thanks to the mechanic who worked on my car!

Dropped off my girlfriends truck to replace all 4 tires. Tony was great and made sure we took advantage of the buy 3 get 1 free tire deal. Service did take some time as we dropped off the truck at 1030am and it was ready by 530pm but they did take my car for same day service without an appointment so kudos to them! Highly recommend them!
