If I could give 0 stars I would. I work in town and go here a few times a week, and the woman manning the register is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. I was waiting patiently to be rung up while she was putting things away and then she glanced up at me and I said “I’m ready to be rung up whenever you are but take your time” and her response was in an irritated tone “sure I’ll jump as high as you want me to” I was in no way impatient and did not at all deserve this response. As someone who works 40 hours a week in retail I try to go out of my way to be nice to other retail workers and to get that as a response really upsets me. This is also not the first time she has given me attitude for simply being asked to do her job. I will not be going to this store again.

I booked my appointment at 12:15pm and went to Barons in Cranford (oops) and drove to Westfield. I arrived at 12:30pm and checked in. You can print and fill out the forms at home or they will print in store. At 12:44pm I received my shot and I am waiting the required 15 minutes to be sure I don’t faint from the J&J(Jannsen) COVID 1 dose vaccine. It could happen. I did feel a little light headed 5 minutes in so I am glad I waited! Michael Cleary, RPh was very personable and very funny. The staff is great also. Quick and easy. They have vitamins, supplements, bandages, creams, and all your pharmacy needs. The store attached to the pharmacy has lottery, gifts, toys, candy, cards, games, etc. It is very clean and nice. Anna

I needed something time-sensitive and I called to several chain and local pharmacies. Baron’s was the ONLY one that actually answered the phone so I could speak to a live human at the actual store. They were able to accommodate my request within the day. I cannot say enough good things about the customer service I received. It’s rare these days. THANK YOU!!

Great service and prices on my Rx. A wide selection of other services for retail and package drop off that makes it very convenient. Web site needs a little bit of work to have the estimated time when the Rx is ready. This is one of the few remaining old time Rx that doesn't charge extra for home delivery.

I am very very sad for this 2 star rating after giving them 5 stars for all the years I have been a customer They may be under new management, they may be understaffed- I don’t know what’s going on I call and ALWAYS am put on hold, listening to an automated recording 4-5 times ..THEN (frequently) I am disconnected and must call back and must listen to these recordings again, and again.... I called at 9am today wanting to know the cost of the medications I was told they would call me back When I hadn’t heard from them (they claim it was my phone) by 3:30 I called the pharmacy Again...well you know, same routine as before In addition several times they have not had enough of the medication I required; they sent what they had and “owed” me the remainder Once I did not receive the balance and once they sent me (and charged me) medication I hadn’t been on in several months. There seems to be a new staff. Perhaps they need to hire additional staff if they are very busy Or perhaps there needs to be more training for the staff currently working there; maybe they are spread too thin Perhaps there needs to be more supervision or involvement from management/owner?? Anyway I’m sorry to be leaving Barons but am moving on to possibly Tiffany’s I really do want to support small business in our area

I received my first Moderna vaccine through Baron’s last Thursday. The pharmacist and assistant were both very friendly and helpful. Additionally, it was one of the least painful shots I have ever received. I chalk this up to the pharmacist being very good at shot giving. I have friends who have received Moderna and the shot hurt-I really think it matters who administers it (in terms of how much it hurts). I will trust the pharmacist at Baron’s for any immunizations I need in the future. I’m very pleased.

I came here with my daughter to send a fedex package and buy some candy. The older woman at the candy counter, who had no customers, was so irritated and nasty by my simply asking where to go for fedex that we left as soon as I gave my package to another woman, who was very nice. No candy. Womp womp.
