We went to the Albuquerque office and were seen by Dr. Stallings. And although we did not get the news we were hoping for, the staff and Dr. Stallings were compassionate and caring. We knew we were in the right place when the Dr. got down on the floor with our dog. We recommend them and would look to them again if we had a need.

I would give zero stars because they don’t even deserve one star. Let me explain. I have called this same “emergency” vet to take my fur babies several times now (months apart)and each time I’ve called the receptionist says that my very sick pet can’t be seen because the techs are saying they can’t accept anymore patients at this time. What’s the point of being an EMERGENCY vet if you can’t see my pet and this has happened EVERY TIME I’ve called. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND UNACCEPTABLE

The best veterinary center I’ve ever taken my dogs to. Dr Stallings and the whole staff are extremely responsive, patient, and always willing to give their time when I call with a question or concern. My dog has epilepsy and they always take the time to answer my questions and ease any concern I might have. I could not give a higher recommendation.

I have been meaning to write this review for awhile! We lost our dog, Sapic, last October after finding out he had a brain tumor. Our last stop was ANIC where we learned that while they could have provided an MRI they gave us their honest opinion and said that the likelihood he could be helped was very slim. The on-call staff that day got us in quickly, were honest, and once we decided to put him down, provided the most beautiful transition for our pup. This was during the beginning of Covid but they allowed us to sit outside in the grass with him, spend some time together and then transition across the rainbow bridge. The whole experience, so heartbreaking, was made so much more beautiful because of their care and compassion. I walked away feeling like an angel had been sent to help us in this impossibly heartbreaking moment. I cannot thank ANIC enough for what they gave us that day- it was so much deeper than a service, it was true peace of mind and love. Thank you thank you thank you!

I trusted this facility the entire time my pup was in their care. They were attentive and responsive to all questions and concerns. I received answers the same day of what is going on with my pup. The staff was friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. At no point did I feel they were trying to truly push any choice on me, they were honest and up front with options. I really trust them and their knowledge and to me, that is most important. The only reason I rate a 4, instead of 5, is due to the pricing. Compared to another neurologist several hours away, this facilities pricing was about $1000+ more for MRI and spinal tap.

We have been very impressed with the treatment our dog, Hippo, received at the ANIC. Waking up one morning to find your otherwise healthy dog paralyzed (in our case, due to IVDD) is a truly heartbreaking experience. The staff and veterinarians at the ANIC, especially Dr. Stallings, were beyond accommodating. They were patient with our questions, extremely kind, and worked with us to make treatment affordable. They seem to really care about the outcomes of their patients and bend over backwards to provide the best care that they possibly can. I highly recommend this clinic.

Our Bella got the most wonderful treatment for her IVDD here on an emergency basis. Excellent skilled surgeons and they communicate with you very thoroughly. Highly recommend this center!

Awful vets we took our baby there after taking him to emerg vet in ABQ the night before they said they would do MRI that day then the attending vet said he had problems w MRI our poor dog suffered until Sun (fathers day) because the vet wasn't coming in until after 2pm they did the surgery on Sun but it was too late he was paralysed we waited 10 days but he made no progress we decided to not let him suffer when vet put him down it was on the floor in the hallway I asked to put him on a table in a room he said all rooms were full still charged us $9000 IT TOOK ME THIS LONG BECAUSE I WAS SO HURT AND CONSIDERING A LAWSUITE

Amazing staff of caring professionals. State of the art equipment. We had to take our Whippet (Gamut) there to find out why he lost control of his back legs. They did an MRI which found the issue the morning our vet referred us. They took us right in and did the procedure, explained every detail and got our beloved dog back on the road to recovery. We are very, very lucky to have such a great facility of professional and caring people here in Northern NM and I would suggest that no matter where you reside, if you are referred to this wonderful clinic, you go there without further consideration. Thank you ANIC, we are so grateful to everyone we encountered!

My baby lost control of his back legs and needed surgery while I was out of town. They made sure to keep me updated every step of the way even though I was out of state and they were so friendly!
