Went here for the first time. They set me up with Stephenie I was very happy with her the first stylist that when I showed her how I want my cut she said she could do it and did. Every other stylist I have gone to and showed the same picture their reply was I don’t have the hair texture for it. Needless to say she is my forever stylist. I definitely recommend her. Let me give it to ya'll straight. I called around 4PM and told whoever answered that I need a good wash and blowout. They said to come at 4:30. I arrive on time. The hair technician introduced herself (I do not remember her name. She was in the first chair behind the cashier.) and asked me what I needed. I told her I needed a GOOD wash, emphasis on "good" and I was shown to a wash chair. From there it went downhill. The wash... She put soap in my hair and lightly washed it. She just went over my front scalp once. She didn't touch the back of the my head or do what I asked. She rinsed me. I know for a fact I still have shampoo in my hair. Oh, and she didn't put conditioner in my hair. She puts the towel and I am in shock. (Yes, I understand that I should have said something. I am thinking of forwarding my review by mail to give them a fair shake to address my issues with the service.) She leads me to the chair and sits me down. She does not apply any leave in conditioner or heat protectant. She uses a blower that she says "only goes to warm" with no focus nozzle and she uses a brush that is clearly dirty and she says has holes in it to let the air through (it does not). Honestly, the brush looked like it came from the dollar store doll set. During this whole process my scalp was itchy and she broke my hair with knots she created from not washing properly and not applying the proper products. I felt like I was in the movie Steel Magnolias because you had clients giving the juiciest gossip to their hairdressers in the other chairs. She worked through my hair with the dirty doll brush and made comments about how my hair wouldn't look shiny because of the haircut I got. No, honey. My hair won't look shiny because you don't have the equipment necessary to provide the service I asked for. I do not have a cosmetologist license but I do have experience in the industry and when the hairdresser says she's had her curling iron since she graduated cosmetology school, we have a problem. She did not have a ceramic or boar bristle round brush to accommodate my hair and did not have a blow dryer with the capacity to service me as my hair required. THAT is why I do not have shiny hair. Oh, and let's not forget the shampoo STILL IN MY HAIR and no conditioner. There was dust everywhere. The station I sat at looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. I paid the $15. Gave a $5 tip and got the hell out of there. I am not sorry for my review. This is my truth and I own it. I hope this helps in your decision to get a basic wash and blow out. I do not have experience in any other service at the salon and cannot speak to the technique or professionalism of the other services the salon provides.

Im usually terrified to get my hair done anywhere. This was my first time here and Stephanie was great, she did exactly what I wanted.
