So happy with the care my dog received when she was sick. We were stern quickly, everything was explained clearly. I left feeling like all our problems and questions were addressed and at a great cost. Wouldn’t take my pet anywhere else.

The entire staff from the doctors to the receptionists are extremely friendly, accommodating, and caring. Whenever there is an emergency they find the time to squeeze us in same day. When Francis, my dog, had his surgery they called to check up on him and make sure he was okay for the next few days. I’ve never been more satisfied and I trust them with my dog completely. I just recently moved a few hours away and I will still be using them as much as I possibly can. Highly recommend!

Dr. Maus and all the vet techs/assistants and front desk staff are caring and informative. My entire family has been bringing our pets to Dr. Maus for over 10 years. He takes the time to get to know your pet and answer any questions you may have. Highly recommend!

They are experienced vets as I have been coming here at certain times over the years with 4 different dogs, and to be fair have typically had decent experiences. This last time, my experience was very strange. The girl at the front desk who I have never met before got very agitated that I questioned the VERY high bill. The front desk here are typically very nice, this one-not so much. I paid $535 for a yearly visit for a healthy dog. They overcharge for Credelio (150+) dollars as well. Without the Credelio, my bill was around $400 dollars. I questioned some tests (in the exam room and to the receptionist, who was very annoyed to be questioned) and why they were performed. One, a heartworm test for $95 for a "perfect" dog as Dr. Maus stated in the exam room. He told me dogs from down south can get heartworm after 6 months even on preventatives. I have had my dog for over a year and she has NO trace of this ailment. And other very peculiar test to check if a vaxx is in the system (I still do not get that one) for $75, as the front desk girl was having a hard time explaining it. I was trying to explain how my bill has NEVER been that high for a yearly and boy they did not like that! Word to the wise-you guys are in a business where people will question, will wonder, will advocate for themselves and their pets. Your ego has lost you two dogs and a very loyal client who has spent large amounts of money at your office over the years. I will be picking up my papers this week and already have called Dr. Eldridge's office in Croton where we will go from now on.

This vet off wasted my time, didn’t got to see the doctor, upon driving from lower westchester, I’ve encountered heavy traffic, I’ve notified the office I was running 10-15 mins, after getting off the taconic parkway I’ve called again to notify I was only 5 mins away and already off the highway, it was 4:12, they’ve literally told me that if I wasn’t there at 4:15, they would have to reschedule me, they cancelled my 1st time apt over a 3 minutes discrepancy after driving in peak hr from lower westchester

Spent a whole day reading vet reviews after I was concerned with my dogs surgery after he got fixed. He’s a large Italian mastiff and very energetic. I panic called this vet and they took me in within 30 min. They were as kind as could be (and I’ve been having very poor vet experiences). I was in and out within 25 minutes, very much relieved about my dogs condition. They gave me medication to calm him down and followed up with a phone call a few days later to check up on him. The pricing was very reasonable, especially compared to the emergency vet prices I would’ve had to pay. Greatly appreciate this team thank you!!!!

Dr.Paul Maus…TERRIBLE VET he is the most lazy and unsympathetic Vet. Only Concerned with the $$ When you say you prefer to keep them home and give antibiotics or whatever RX your pet may require, he actually pouts , does nothing and hides out in his office when you have questions . He suggested one of my cats get a blood transfusion which was not needed and today his 12 year old self still runs around and plays . Then he could have done the ultrasound for my sick cat, but rather have me wait for tech. He is the most un-caring Vet I have ever encountered . Numerous residents and friends warned me not not use Northern Westchester Vet. I wish I never went there in the first place .

We had a great visit there with our two new kittens Reggie and Mini. The Dr. and her assistant were great with explaining the process and what the appointment entailed. We were very happy with the care and will continue with North Westchester as our animal hospital.
