Pros: Food was great ! And the decor was nice. Lobster roll was great though I wish it had used more traditional bread. Cons: Waited to be seated while FOUR hostesses stood in front chatting. Finally when 3 of them left then the last asked if I needed help. I asked for a table for 3.. she looked confused and seemed bothered she had to seat me.. half the tables in the restaurant were empty. She then dropped the menus on the table without a word. (apparently not all of the menus as our server had to get us an additional specials menu after realizing we didn’t have it). Our server was nice and attentive but you could tell he had way too many tables and was all over the place. Drinks took forever to come out and we had our appetizers before putting in our order for entrees. I hate eating on top of menus. This place has potential but needs to get a better hold on managing operations. We left at 8pm and several tables had not been cleaned up after people had left. Not a great look.

We went for lunch 9/8 for our 51st anniversary, we decided to eat inside there was only 1 other table being used everyone else was outside. The food was great I would give that 5 stars but apparently they were short handed. Our waiter was busy going to the bar to make drinks for the people at the bar and those that were at tables outside. I had to ask another server for containers for left over, also had to ask another to get our server for the bill which was wrong but he did correct it right away. Definitely will go back though.

Absolutely amazing experience! Jamie was an attentive and knowledgeable server. My sister and brother in law both came in for the lobster rolls which were super yummy and full of lobster. My sister in law also enjoyed a nice bowl of lobster bisque. My husband and I split the mussels scampi (probably the best mussels I have ever had), fried calamari which was perfectly cooked and crispy just the way we like it and steak tidbits which were by far some of the best we have had. Definitely worth checking out! We can not wait to come back! Keep up the good work Chef Michael 😋

The food was absolutely delicious. We both had the Lobster Roll and it was fantastic. Our only concern was the poor hostess. She was running around, having to seat people, get their drinks, and bring them bread WHILE managing the entire crowds that had gathered because reservations were overlapping. She did this with poise (kudos to her), but this system seems unfair for one person to handle.

Amazing all around! Food staff and service! Chef Michael is wonderful and my waitress Jamie was amazing! Don’t miss the lobster bisque or lobster rolls! Off the hook for sure

Ate here for the first time with a few friends tonight. I had Cesar salad, a crab cake appetizer, and a lobster roll. Everything was delicious! The lobster roll especially was full of huge chunks of lobster, definitely worth the price. Connor the waiter was very attentive and Mike came over to make sure we enjoyed the food. We will be back!

It was a beautiful warm morning, we chose Jackson Hall American Bar & Grille because they had outside dining in the East Islip area. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious! Planning on definitely going back! Thank you!

I was here for a Bridal Shower. The service was surprisingly great and I only say that because of the current staffing situation. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food too (same reason). Our party morphed into the bar area and the great service extended into that area too. I'll recommend this restaurant for your party, your lunch, your dinner or just your bar visit!

I feel like it had down wholesome food I actually ordered meatloaf and mashed potatoes it was a good serving I could barely finish it I like the brown sauce the meatloaf is juicy. I thought it was a low pricey but then I saw the size of the dish so they canceled each other out.
