They took such great care of our 6 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel! From the start of the process they were able to get him in for an exam, and surgery appointment within two weeks! Very pleased with their work 👍

This dentist needs to be put out of business ASAP. He is totally incompetent. We took our dog to him a few years ago because he was recommended as the best dentist for dogs and our dog needed to have some of his teeth removed. At the time he failed to put a cone on him after the surgery. This resulted in our dog loosing his eye because he severely scratched it and it ruptured. When we took the dog back to him to deal with the ruptured eye he did not want to do anything and suggested that we take him back to our regular vet or to Corning. At this point we took him to our vet so they could remove his eye because we totally lost faith in his ability to treat him properly. Then today during his regular dental cleaning, our vet informed us that he found a dental drill embedded in his jaw bone which he informed us was there long enough that they can't remove it as the bone has grown around it. Our vet said he believes that this was left there from the original surgery. There is no way to remove this drill bit and probably explains why our dog ended up scratching his eye initially leading to his loosing his eye. This is totally unacceptable and is definitely incompetence on the "dog dentists" part. So be advised, this Dr is anything but a overpriced hack that should not be in business. EDIT: Updated to include x-ray to show that this account is accurate.

Our cat got bit by a dog and had her skull crushed, Dr. Davis was able to see her immediately and perform surgery right away. The staff was very kind and checked in with us frequently and answered my questions during her recovery. Now our cat is fully recovered and doing very well

I’m very thankful that my wife found Animal Dental Specialist. We reached out to them and explained the issue our cat was having with his teeth and gums, and Dr. Davis and the entire staff took the time to explain what options we had. After the successful surgery a complete rehabilitation plan was laid out. Due to Dr. Davis and the entire staff’s knowledge, care, and compassion our cat is healthy and no longer in pain. Would highly recommend Animal Dental Specialist to anyone’s pet dental care.

From the first phone call with Laura, we knew this was the place to bring our 9 year old dachshund. We were referred to Dr Davis by our vet. We live 2 hours away. Berkeley’s teeth were really bad and needed a full mouth extraction. We were so nervous about the procedure but we felt peace that Berkeley was in the right hands. While in the procedure, Dr Davis noticed a growth in Berky’s mouth. With our okay, he sent it to be biopsied. We ended up having it removed and can’t even begin to describe how grateful we are for Dr Davis’ observation and initiative. It’s been a scary few months but Dr Davis and his staff have been there every step of the way. The level of support, knowledge, experience and compassion from everyone in this office is unparalleled! Berkeley is happy and healthy and we are forever grateful for everyone in this office. Thank you Dr Davis, Laura, Caitlin, Janette, Priscilla and Kara!

The expertise and care my cats received was superb. Your pets are in excellent hands with Dr. Davis and his staff at Animal Dental Specialists. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Davis and his team provided great care to my cat, Teagan. She needed surgery to remove a growth in her mouth. Once she was examined, they scheduled a quick appointment in just 2 days. They followed up with me every day while she recuperated which I appreciated. I would surely recommend them to all. So, thank you Dr. Davis and team!

Easy to find, hard to get to if you need to make a left turn. Clean facility. Dr. Davis and his staff were very friendly and made Zack feel calmer. The surgery went very well and Zack is now happy with his clean teeth. He had to have teeth pulled which can be stressful but the doctor was very reassuring. He is very knowledgeable about pet dental care. I was impressed with his technology and his knowledge and his skill. We'll be going back each year. A bit pricey compared to vets but well worth it.

Highly professional and knowledgeable staff, who showed incredible care and concern for my 11 year old Rat Terrier, Olive, as she underwent some pretty significant dentistry in February 2019. Dr. Davis was amazing and is clearly an expert in his field. He took his time in our initial appointment to make sure I understood the procedure and recovery, and I felt very reassured that they would take great care of Olive. She has had a fantastic recovery and I feel so fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Davis and his staff. I highly recommend Animal Dental Specialists of Upstate NY.

Dr. Davis and his team were fantastic to work with. Our dog had a serious medical problem and we were very emotional and nervous going to the clinic. Dr. Davis immediately made friends with our dog and put all of us at ease. After Dr. Davis thoroughly explained the issue and the medical procedure, we left our dog in their capable hands. They called us several times with updates during the day. The procedure was successful and they were so good to our dog that he was even excited to be back at the clinic a few weeks later to have stitches removed! We are very pleased with the service and we would bring our pets back again. I highly recommend Dr. Davis and his team!
