I love this place! Their meats are always fresh. Their selection is great and if they dont have it prepared they can always prepare it off you give them enough time. They are always willing to help!

I want to start by saying this post was my absolute last resort. My family has been going to Sals for 30+ years and has never had a problem until now. On numerous occasions after the new owner took over we have had issues with the chicken cutlets being a rubber-like texture with a foul taste. I spoke to what I believe to be the new manager Pasquale after speaking to another customer in the store that had the same issue. Pasquale completely dismissed our complaints and said we were the only people that had an issue with the new chicken he has been selling. (Which is a lie. I’ve spoken to a handful of people with the same issue.)He then indicated that he needs multiple people to complain for him to make a change. Today I went in to buy chop meat and he asked about the chicken and I told him the same thing. He was nothing but rude and actually laughed at me and said I should stop complaining. Why do I still go back? The guys that work there will do anything and everything in their power to help and make the customer happy. In this instance their hands are unfortunately tied since he is now calling the shots. Today just may have been the last straw for me.

I ordered a cold cut sandwich with mayo, the mayo looked a brownish color and the roll was so stale and hard. When you purchase anything to eat you expect quality and I didn’t get that this time around and so I’m disappointed and a little disgusted.

I agree the is not the same with the new owner and butchers.Chicken cutlet slimmy and have a odor. I usually Call and have a order delivered with no problem, since there is a new owner and butcher, I neither have a problem with the order or getting my card # and phone # right. I spend from 30.00 to 60.00. I have not order lately.

Sal's butcher department brings back days gone by personal service, friendly and helpful counter men, and excellent meats from standard cut to custom orders. Housemade sausages and prepared cuts pre marinated for you convenience. They even offer delivery service. Hard to go wrong here for freshness and service.

Been going to Sals for over 30 years. Staff always friendly, meat is always the freshest, cut to order as requested. Today had a roast beef hero while on the go....the best.

Sal's consistently provides the best meats available in the area. Besides being a butcher shop, it is also a convenience store and deli. Coffee in the morning, a sandwich or hero to take for lunch... If you want anything special, ask and they will accommodate, this includes dry aging beef.
