Went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription for my son and they said the didn't have it in. I asked if they could call another Walgreens to see if they have it there. They stated they couldn't do that. I just called my pediatrician and he said they should have called and they were being lazy. Anyway you look at they don't care. So from now on, I will go elsewhere. Sick of people just flat out lying.

I love this pharmacy's staff! They are HARD working and always helpful to me. A Special shout out to the head pharmacist, even during her busiest hectic days she always takes the time to talk me down from having a major anxiety attack ~ (which I am medically diagnosed). I love to shop this store, the staff is simply amazing. The pharmacy staff is always very helpful and I utilize all of the digital options provided. It saddens me to see how cruel and rotten people are to this amazing staff.

Extremely frustrated whenever I have to call in. You can easily expect a 30 plus minute wait on the phone whenever you call. I really love the convenience of having this Walgreens near my home, but to get anything done over the phone is excruciating. This time it took 41 minutes to get through to the pharmacy. There is no reason it should ever take 40 minutes to update insurance information or talk to a pharmacy staff member. I understand how overwhelmed everyone must be right now, but Walgreens has to have a better solution than this.

I have been using this location since I have been in the Albany area. I have always had great service. They were patient and worked with me when I was transitioning insurance. Called when I got home from picking up Rx to ask questions after reading the insert and they were very helpful. I always go in the evening.

I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for many years and cannot express how great this pharmacy staff has been and continues to be. They have gone above and beyond even during the peak of COVID between giving vaccines and handling rude customers. They continue to be kind and help their community as much as possible. Pharmacy tech answered the drive through window with an attitude. Then said the script was returned to stock because of how many days I had waited.(Totally accept the blame for that) she said they would fill it but that I would have to wait a few min and to drive back around. After waiting a few minutes, I drove back around and they closed the window for the evening. Had it just been explained that I needed to come back the next day, I would have understood. But to send me back around the building so that you can close the window on me is disrespectful and horrible customer service. I have been going to this pharmacy for years and ever since Walgreens purchased rite aid, the customer service has gone down hill.

I have been going here for 10 years. The Pharmacy department can sometimes be busy but I get 5 star service. The department is extremely helpful and go out of their way to help you. I am not going to mention the names of the 2 Pharmacist but they go above and beyond! Be patient at this time people! Everyone is working hard to please you!

I've been a long time customer, and was folded in when Walgreens acquired Rite Aid. Every single month my prescriptions have gotten filled later by a few days, eventually throwing off my schedule by 15 days and separating two medications meant to be taken together. Both October and November I have had to call about the status of my refill only to be on hold for over 25 minutes, multiple times. Then at the 25 minute mark, the line will cut me off and hang up. I will call back and then placed at the end of the cue with "more than three callers ahead" of me. I haven't been able to speak to a human being once. Today's call was because I had a prescription that was supposed to be done Sunday November 21 at 11:00 a.m. I had not received a single text or phone call with the status of it as I usually do. So I check my online account only for it to say there is a "technical problem" and that I need to call the pharmacy to have it filled. How am I supposed to do that when I literally cannot get ahold of anyone in the pharmacy? I have called 3 times today and spent more than an hour total on hold. The pharmacy is severely understaffed and ill equipped to give proper medical care. This is a fault that completely falls on corporate's failure to listen to consumer and employee feedback. I am infuriated with the hoops I have to jump through in order to get my prescriptions. I am immediately pulling all of my prescriptions from Walgreens, and transferring them to a locally owned pharmacy in Cohoes. I have been extremely understanding and empathetic towards the plight that the staff is facing with being overworked and understaffed. I don't fault them for only being able to handle so much. However, when I am consistently on hold longer than 25 minutes and am thrown off my medication schedule by 15 days, I have to draw the line. I'm an attorney with a busy schedule and I don't have the ability to sit on hold and then disconnected month after month. I intend to submit a complaint to New York State's Office of Professions because this negligent failure to act will be the death of someone.

Is ZERO stars an option!! Second time attempting to use the pharmacy and each time nothing but condescending, rude, non-compassionate customer service. Called to find out about insurance hang up, was advised to call my insurance company and was laughed at and hung up on when I requested the pharmacist call my doctor to try to resolve. (Note: gave 3 hrs time span for them to fix) Showed up to speak with the manager and find out what was going on only to be told there was no resolution to be offered tonight (prescription was for insulin and time sensitive medical concern) and no repercussions to staff for how I was treated. Not letting this one go, completely out of line!
