The staff at Pomona are efficient friendly and knowledgable. We have had several ortho/arthritis issues with our Labrador Retriever this past year and the compassion and empathy and determination to come up with a viable treatment plan was incredibly reassuring. Dr. C. Puzio, and Dr. Lambrich and the entire vet team, techs, office staff always made us feel comfortable and went above and beyond. Kudos to all of you as Logan is doing 100% better and we couldn't be happier!

My pets are in the best of hands at Rockland Veterinary at Pomona Animal Hospital. Dr Christopher Puzio is an excellent veterinarian - knowledgeable, kind and a true professional in every sense. The staff is always friendly, efficient and compassionate. I truly feel my pets, who are my family, are safe and well cared at this practice.

My 10 and a half year old large mixed breed dog has been a patient of the Pomona office of Rockland Veterinary Care his entire life. While we have been pleased with the care of the hospitals vets, a recent experience with surgery has led to me wanting to write. Clearly the relationship with your vet, their skill with communication, their handling of your pet, their medical knowledge in handling routine, urgent and preventative care, as well as the way in which the supportive staff functions and is customer service oriented, all of these things are critical to the effectiveness of how you and your loved one are treated. We, my wife, myself and Dr. Puzio have been monitoring some growths on my dog's chest and groin area. They had been stable, neither growing quickly or changing in density (2 signs of a possible malignancy) for quite some time, Then they did and at that time, Dr. Puzio indicated that it was time to seriously consider removing them. After much thought and hand wringing, we agreed to have him remove 4 and possibly 5 growths. Because Deazle is an anxious boy as were my wife and I, Dr. Puzio allowed us to stay with him while anesthesia was begun and he went to sleep for the surgery. While this was wonderful for all of us, more amazingly, we were allowed to sit with him as he awakened from the surgery so he woke up seeing his family. The care provided to us was of the caliber of the very best, most sophisticated and sensitive pediatric facilities one would entrust their children to. The staff in the office, the Veterinary Technicians and Dr. Puzio could not have been more kind and understanding. Dr. Puzio in particular was patient, respectful and he is a wonderful communicator. While four of the five growths removed were not at all worrisome in appearance, one of them was. Dr. Puzio was able to deliver this information calmly but directly and without being alarming. As appropriate, he counseled waiting for the pathology report to come back and assured us that we would, if necessary, discuss our options. I can't speak to the qualities of other Veterinarians in this practice. But I can assure any readers that Dr. Puzio provides the very best care you can find (I've used many vets in 40 years of dog parenting). If you have a pet that you love and want a great medical provider for that loved one, you will not go wrong with the Rockland Veterinary Hospital Pomona Office and with Dr. Puzio in particular.

Always received great care since 2007. Our dog was vomiting and they took her the same day! Bravo....it's important to look at having room for urgent situations. It's a precarious time, so for routine matters why not plan ahead to be part of the solution? I have had very hard circumstances and they have always been a great hospital, better than many in the county. Our dog lived for years and we credit that the care. Just imagine how stressful it is caring for pets and having to put animals down. Everyone is doing their best.

The staff at Rockland Vet care are just wonderful!! They are friendly, patient and caring to my pets. It is very much appreciated. Dr. Puzio is just fantastic with my cats. He is really knowledgeable and will often give me ideas to maintain their health and well being. He takes the time to really talk to me about any concerns and is a calming hand for my vet shy babies. If you want a Doc to really look out for your pets this is the place to bring them. I can’t thank the Rockland Vet team enough.

Our Apollo loves Pomona Animal Hospital! The staff are so caring. The doctors are highly competent. They answer all our questions. The fact that Apollo looks forward to seeing everyone there says a lot about this veterinary practice. We highly recommend Pomona Animal Hospital!

If you care about your pets then DO NOT take your precious animals here!!! Where do I even begin?! I'm not one to write reviews but I feel compelled to share this and hopefully you won't have the same experience. Took my labradoodle here for a check up some time ago. I'll admit my Sammy is a handful - I stepped out of the room for probably 10 seconds to answer a call - as I walked back into the room -- Nicole (I believe her name was) was dangling my dog from his leash!!!!! Just picture your loving pet dangling from it's leash at the vet and the person you trusted to care for them is CURSING and YELLING at them!! Had I not walked in my Sammy would have probably choked. To add insult to injury --- she told me "You really need to control your pet when you come here - I'm not a babysitter" --- the NERVE! I calmed Sammy down and carried him to my car. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!!!!! Pets are to be cared for especially at the Vet. Avoid this place at all cost if you love your pet
