What a charming and friendly old school place! Family run, with great authentic food at very reasonable prices. The soups are home made by the owner of the business and are delicious - certainly a step up from your common diner soups.

The flavors of ice cream are impressive and varied. But most of all our grandchildren loved loved loved the old time helicopter ride with the coun slot. Only a quarter and the highlight of their day.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Got the pastrami Reuben special, followed by a small twist cone. Delicious all around. Have enjoyed their soup in the past. Beautiful seasonal window art.

The food here was terrible all though polite service the soup was soggy and gross and i asked for no syrup on the ice cream sundae and they gave me syrup and the cold slaw was terrible tasting. And the hamburger was rare when my dad asked for medium. And the coffee was cold and very bland very bad tasting. And the food came to $25.63. Dont come here if you dont want to get sick or have a very bad food experience.

A classic ice cream and food shop. I've always enjoyed the food and the employees. It is simple, but it is classic; there's outdoor tables and the requisite pastel neon lighting - there's also indoor seating. At certain hours (6-7pm?) it can be busy (busy == popular == likely good). For what it is, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Sorry, no photos yet.

The kids say, "it's okay". Great ice cream place with a diner attached. Interesting decor, including the front of a vintage yellow car under the counter. Unexpected: they serve Yerba Mate, the caffeinated South American herbal tea. It's coming found in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and southern Brazil. But gaining popularity here in the USA.

Overall a nice and quirky local dining option. The 50’s motif is nice and nostalgic especially with the local car shows that frequent the place. The food is about average for the type of drive-in / diner style cuisine it serves. Nothing miraculous or exceedingly better. Portions are slightly smaller than a traditional diner, but the atmosphere and small and quiet environment more than make up for it. I’ve had burgers, speciality sandwiches, wraps and dogs- as well as several ice cream desserts here - and haven’t had a bad experience. Used a coupon from Entertainment last time and it was accepted without any stress, for those of you who use such things. Overall, recommend it to a family or even a small intimate date. It’s not what one could call romantic, but it’s local, it’s genuine, it’s on the lower end of the budget scale and it’s good. Try it out!
