Why the pharmacy is closing earlier than usual? Store website shows close time at 5pm on Sunday and when I went to pick some emergengy meds for my son they were closed at 4:20pm without excuse. Goodman Street at Richester NY needs to update their hours in their website if they are planning to take a short Sunday schedule.

Worst customer service EVER! The last year or two I have noticed that people there hate their jobs, never smile, do not welcome you or thank you after the purchase, and generally do nothing to appreciate the customer. This week I had two prescriptions called in. When I went in to pick them up (24 hours later) they asked to confirm that I was picking up 1 prescription. I said there should be two. The girl looked at the computer and then said "nope - 1." I explained that I had two that were sent from the doctor at the same time and her response was to tell me I will have to call the doctor because only 1 came through. I then called the doctor and they confirmed two were sent but re-sent the one that I was missing. I called back to Rite Aid and confirmed they had the prescription and they said they were working to fill it. Maybe an hour later I get a text saying "too soon" which was very confusing and cryptic. When I called back they said the first person I spoke too was new and did not know what she was looking at (ignoring how rude she was to tell me "Nope - 1" as if I was lying to her) and the 2nd person I talked too just never looked. However, the prescription was received both times and my insurance declined because they prefer a different type of medication; or I could get what the doctor prescribed OTC. I was very upset at the whole situation and wanted to file a complaint so I went online to submit a complaint. The person I spoke to never apologized for the situation and acted like he was just there to write down what I said and someone else will take care of the issue. I shared with him that I felt this way and asked that he just cancel my account with Rite Aid since they do not need my personal information anymore if I am not going to do business. His response was to say that he could only delete the rewards account and I would have to contact someone else to delete the pharmacy account. So I called the customer service number and they took care of it all for me. Most organizations pride themselves in customer service and measure success with customers only having to contact the organization once about a problem. Rite Aid seems to approach customer service from the perspective that if I want a service it is my job to fight for it. Twice my doctor sent in a prescription that my insurance did not want to fill and not once did anyone from Rite Aid call me - they waited for me to come in and then the 2nd time they sent a text message that was not correct to encourage me to call them. Then when I wanted to cancel my account, they would not get me to the right person to help me and instead offered to tell me how to call someone else who could help. In the end - I went to the store once, contacted Rite Aid 4 times, and Rite Aid only filled 1/2 the order and lost a customer. A phone call and a little caring about the customer would have prevented this. But honestly, with how much customer service has been dropping at the store - it seems to be par for the course. Please also note, many of the reviews on here have responses from Rite Aid again telling people how to contact them to address their concerns. Just more evidence that if you want something from Rite Aid - you have to do the work to get it because they are not going to be proactive to help a customer. If you are reading this review - 1433 Culver Rd has a Walgreens where they have better service and they are only 2 miles away. Drive a few extra minutes for the better service. When you do not feel good - it's worth doing business with someone who cares about you.

We took the kids here for their first covid shot and the pharmacist and techs were great. The pharmacist was super patient even with an anxious child. Dose 2 did not go as well. We walked up to the counter and the pharmacist did not greet us, just asked if we had an appointment. I said yes, for ten. (We were 13 minutes early but the previous time we had to fill out some forms, and better early than late right?) Anyway, he literally rolled his eyes, and told us we were going to be waiting awhile. That was fine. Then he asked if we had our vaccine cards. I had lost my purse, so I didn't. He told us we couldn't get a second vaccine without the card. I'm fairly certain he could have looked it up in the database. Suffice to say, we left and we will be trying another location for their second vaccine. Our first experience was so great, but this second one overshadowed it, and I would not recommend using this pharmacy.

This location is getting worse and worse by the day when it comes to the pharmacy. The first incident occurred when I went to drop a prescription off. When I got there, the woman at the window was rude and said it would take them 2 days to fill…2 DAYS?! The second incident occurred when I had a prescription waiting for pick up. I unfortunately got sick and was not able to pick it up. I called the pharmacy and asked them to hold it for me. The woman said it wasn’t a problem and that she would put a note on it. I go to pick it up the day I said I would and sure enough they put it back. I had to leave and come back only for them to message me half an hour later saying it was ready. Then my doctor called in a prescription today and after 5+ hours, it still was not ready. Had to have it transferred to a different Rite Aid since it is needed today per my doctor. Absolutely ridiculous. 3 strikes and your out. I will be transferring the remained of my prescriptions to another pharmacy immediately.

I went shopping at this store on Sunday and found all of my desire items. A women who checking out my items was really nice, and helpful. Also the place is really clean and organized.

Literally have a bad experience every time I try and place orders here. I’m switching pharmacies ASAP, this location deserves to go out of business, they play with people lives, and don’t care. Pathetic what they’ve become.

FALSE WEB SITE INFO...and the employees don't care. Was traveling to Canada and needed a COVID test 72 hours before arrival. Rite Aid web site says results 1-3 days except holiday weekends. Perfect. Booked an appt, did the swab and am told results are 1 to 7days!! I told her that Rite Aid's web site says 1 to 3 days. She replies that they send it to a lab and it could take 7 days. I referred her to her web site's info and she just said "Sorry". No attempt to have the web site corrected. Not sure I would trust this store to fill my prescriptions.

Destiny really helped me out tremendously 11/27/20 @ 5:08pm I was looking for cough syrup for my dad, he couldn’t stop coughing for at least 3 days he was currently taking NyQuil but wanted something different because that wasn’t working anymore I saw her stocking the shelves I asked her what was the best cough suppressant they had I told her it was for my dad she asked some really good discovery questions like is he diabetic I said yes! Yes he is...I was reaching for theraflu and quickly said oh no try this one Diabetic Tussin the other ones are loaded with alcohol and sugar he doesn’t need that. Also the other girl at the front counter Had a long line, destiny quickly opened the next register and got the line down in seconds i appreciate her so much she exhibited something you just don’t see everyday. I thank you Destiny!
