Clutch died on my car while I was on the highway. AAA towed me to Jerry’s, the closest place. They were so friendly. They let me wait for a friend to pick me up even though it was after 5pm on a Sunday. It was a big job to replace the clutch and took several days. Manny did a great job with the repair. He explained everything to us and kept us updated the whole time. Very pleased with their service all around. Service: Transmission

Zero stars ! I've call them to pick car up for my transporter and bring it to their shop 3miles away . They quoted me 125$ plus 7$/mile . I've waited two hours on the service road and then they called me in to and asked for 600$ !!! For reasons like the car as two low on air tires and no key (which it had). Waisted my time (I'm doing towing and transport 20 years myself) 3h30min with this clowns !... I've picked up the car next day for 125$ with a different towing and zero issues .

The owner helped me, a total stranger. I had car trouble in the area and called the nearest garage. I described my problem and he told me what to do. Very grateful. This was about 3 years ago, and this review long overdue!

Wouldn't help get a dog locked in the car before being handed over the $100 by the woman who owns the car instead of a nice stranger offering to help pay since her purse was also locked in the car with the dog. It was over 90 degrees out. He also wouldn't accept credit cards, so they made the poor dog wait longer than they had to in a HOT car.

Edwin came and picked up my car in around 30 mins , fast, reliable and friendly . Couldn’t ask for anything better from a towing company .

I was towed to this station by AAA when my car didn't start. I received quick service and I received hourly updates along the way. I had to stay there since repairs would be done the same day. The chairs were ok and Jerry's is close to coffee and deli shops for food. This is a working repair station and while a crutch or cane might be usable in the waiting room, a wheelchair is out. The shop is visible from the Expressway and Powerhouse road. They have a large lot and I saw 4 bays, at least. The cost of the repair was reasonable and the employees pleasant. I recommend this shop!!

"No Stars" The tow driver who works for this company is rude, dishonest and absolutely awful. So is the owner. We happened to be in the area from out of town (we had a gift card to a nice restaurant in the area, Kyma). Afterwards, we found out our car was towed from the parking lot next door. After much ordeal finding the car's location, he told us it was $271 cash. (How can you charge that much for a 1 mile tow?? It was also towed from less than a mile away!). My boyfriend had to walk down 495 to find an ATM while I waited with the tow driver (we were afraid he would leave without letting us get the car, which he threatened to do). Then, the driver saw my doggie bag from Kyma (the restaurant) and said 'just so you know, the cost is $300 now.' I tried to explain that we couldn't afford $300 and he said 'You're worried about $300, but you just had lunch at Kyma.' Needless to say, this place is a total and complete scam. Horrible business practices. I hope no one ever gets stuck dealing with this company or breaks down in the area. If AAA tries to send them to you (yes, somehow they are a AAA approved member!) ask them for a different provider!

I am currently a AAA member and recently broke down in an unfamiliar town (New Hyde Park). Bad news for me was my car is no longer drivable, but the good news is I am a faithful AAA member. So after pushing my car to an empty parking lot I called AAA and they said they would send someone right away! After waiting over 2 hours a bald guy from "Jerrys " towing company pulls up and asks for my ID. Once I hand it to him, he looks it over then questions my last name. Because I recently got married my maiden name is not on my ID. Once I explained that to him he then begins to question my address, which is still exactly the same as my membership . Then he LIES and says my membership is registered in a different state. He calls his supervisor but refuses to let me speak with him and says "use your own phone" then closed the door in my face and pulls off. I then call AAA and they tell me all my information is CORRECT and sincerely apologize for the way the driver treated me. I have used my AAA benefits multiple times and this is the FIRST time I have ever been treated this way!! He was rude and not trying to help me or even attempt to figure things out. I believe he was being completely racist and bias towards the way I look. I am a successful business owner myself and I would NEVER treat a customer the way i was treated.
