WOW I WAS AMAZED! The hospitality of these workers and dedication I just got at this place was amazing. My dogs foot got ran over they took him right in and took car of it. They care about your animal WAY MORE THAN MONEY! I can't say enough good things I feel about this place right now just amazing

Dr Sullivan and her staff are Amazing and very compassionate! Dr Sullivan saved my Cat Nueces back in the fall of 1996 after a very severe head injury, and last spring she showed outstanding patients and taking time earning my Catahoula 'Hazlitt" trust. And just last Saturday helped me say goodbye to my 13 year old sweetheart Riley. Very compassionate and caring people. Thank you Dr. Sullivan and staff! Sincerely, Christopher Binder

Was recommended to Spencer Animal Hospital by a friend after my cat was suddenly lethargic. The regular vet my cats had been seeing didn't have many answers so I went for a second opinion they were amazing. I have been back there since and the staff is wonderful and very caring. They take the time to really explain everything and answer any questions. They have also called back every time to do a follow-up just to make sure my cat was doing well. They are also very affordable compared to most offices. I highly recommend Spencer Animal Hospital.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have a 5 month old puppy that is going to be 6 months old right before her appt date. I have no previous vet records for her. So I had many questions regarding her shots. I was explained the whole process from start to finish. I never felt rushed. She did not get off the phone until every last question was answered. I was referred to them by my sister by the way. Shehas taken her dogs there for years. She always has given them the highest reviews. After listening to her for so many years I just had to try them out atleast. So far So great!

Series of harmful, negative events: 1. I was laughed at on the phone when I asked if any same-day emergency appointments were still available. 2. At the scheduled appointment (6 days later), nobody collected a history of present illness. Because of COVID restrictions, my cat was taken from me and I was told paperwork would be brought out to my car. No paperwork came, and I received no updates until I called 20 minutes later. 3. Dr. Sullivan pronounced my cat's name incorrectly, never introduced herself, and made alarming and condescending comments about my cat's health without making eye contact with me. She expressed no empathy and showed no compassion at any point. 4. She recommended $400 worth of labs that did not fit my cat's clinical picture. Her differential diagnosis was purely based on my cat's age, without taking into account her entire clinical history. 5. She was unable to explain simple medical concepts, such as dehydration causing acute kidney injury. She fixated on a single abnormal lab value and did not address or provide recommendations for any other concerns I had. 6. She gave my cat four times the maximum volume of subcutaneous fluid any other veterinarian recommends -- close to the volume doctors give humans who are 20x my cat's weight. I never consented to the amount. 7. I was never provided an after visit summary documenting my cat's physical exam findings, nor was I told if if her mouth was examined, despite her history of dental surgery and recent difficulty chewing (which they never asked about). 8. In the end, I was charged $250 for a traumatizing experience that was more harmful than helpful to both me and my cat. I would never return to this veterinarian, call with questions, or recommend her to anyone.
