My husband and I have been customers of Tuckahoe Paint and Glass for over 25 years and prefer shopping there more than at any other store for all types of household needs. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and never hesitant to offer advice and assistance. Recently, I sought the help of David in the Glass Department regarding an unusual and beautifully crafted waste basket constructed of an outside metal frame with exposed areas of glass that was accidentally, dropped. Before disposing of this item, I consulted with David. The glass had broken in a few places but the lovely frame work remained intact. Though a broken waste basket was a far cry from the type of glazing work David preforms, he kindly assessed the issue and offered me a solution: the glass could not be repaired but the basket frame could be saved. He carefully removed all the pieces of glass from the basket making it safe to handle, and I gratefully left with my beautiful waste basket that only needed the usual clear plastic, disposable liner to, once again, be totally functional without losing its lovely appeal. Thank you, David, and Kudos to you and your wonderful colleagues at Tuckahoe Paint and Glass!!!

The mirror from my very old medicine cabinet broke and a friend told me to go to Tuckahoe Glass to get it replaced. I went and met with David. He was so kind and helpful. The price was great and the turnaround was super quick. It was a great experience and I’ll definitely go back!

Very nice helpful staff. Love local hardware stores and this place is huge. They had a paint adhesive I couldn't find anywhere else and they were amazingly friendly. Definitely pay them a visit for your painting needs
