I had a very bad experience in this place with Jessie who works in the pro area, which is supposed to be for the most advanced clients, I imagine that is why it is the pro area, but this person was not at his job and he arrived with a very bad attitude the owners of this company or real managers should check the cameras and see if there really was no system as the employee Jessie said that she almost yelled at me it would be very good if they check their cameras around 8:30 am that I was there More than 15 minutes waiting for him to arrive at his job and after that he told me that there was no system in a very bad way, it leaves much to be desired, the truth is, I hope that this review serves so that this does not happen to another person

I was in the checkout line for one hour I’m the Hempstead store today. This kind of service is unacceptable. Why don’t they open the self checkout line or have more cashiers

HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE !!!!!!!!! Came to the store drove 40 mins to pick up an item I order online, while in the store I decide to buy a few other things which I needed help there was no employee willing to help, they all seem to not know anything and just ignore your questions. Asked for se one to help me put something in the cart and the man refused to help me

I would think for a STORE that size they'll have more cashiers for those [ like my self ] who aren't comfortable with the self check system....... With that said the lines are always very very long along with the waiting time...... JAKE

I waited in total about 40 minutes for my order. The store was not busy at all and once they got to me.. the associate that went for my order seem to have a difficult time and then she got help from someone else to come and help her. The male associate put the huge box (bathroom vanity) in front of me at a door that was suppose to be open to load deliveries but was closed!! And she then proceeded to tell me here is your receipt. I asked for a cart and she questioned me needing a cart.. she left I guess to go and get me a cart… and after waiting for about 10 minutes my boyfriend came in and used one of their carts with things filled on it to unload it and then load our items and took it to the car ourselves. The service was below bare minimum. Get better employees!!

Horrible and rude staff who.all think they are managers. I wanted to make a return and was told I couldn't that corporate changed their policy. When In fact I was lied to by a cashier who assumed she was a manager stating the above when infact I was at the same time gold from corporate through chat option it was up to the store I wasn't looking for cash bust simply to exchange it for the right item. It's sad I will no longer shop this company who claims they want to be part of the community but lack some customer service basic skills sad day for home.depot may they shut their door has quickly has Pergamint back in 2002. Bellow is the store manager who no customer service skills should be fire and doesn't care about anything else then his bottom line for his bonus ... really home depot great service !! Way to be part of the community, NOT!!!

I went to the Home Depot in Hempstead to pick up paint. Home Depot Employee Lakissey was working in the paint department. Before we ordered the paint she asked for my phone number. This was new to me, but I gave her my phone number. After I ordered my paint I asked her "Why did you ask for my phone number" She replied "We put your paint colors in our system so you will be able to order paint from any Home Depot and they will be able to pull up the paint if we needed a replacement". I told her "Your the 1st person to ask me for my phone number and I think that's a great system and great customer service". She said she is trying to insist all of her co workers to keep it going because its better customer service" She also gave us stain for free that was discontinued and was going to be thrown out anyway. It was a great experience and Lakissey represents Home Depot in professional customer service. Thank You Lakissey

Friendly helpful stafff...but the store is not really organized. Christmas trees and decorations are kind of pushed off and out of the way during the height of the season. Low inventory on basic things like the heavy duty garbage bags. Not my first choice. Christmas decorations are in full view but everything falls flat as you enter the store itself.
