Ordered a cake last minute due to a mishap at another restaurant. They were very accommodating, excellent customer service and the cake was beautiful and delicious, coming here for my cakes from now on!

Please pay attention to the dryness and atale baked goods. Especially with the prices you’re asking! Use a bit of almond extract to bring out the flavor. I thought everything was baked in house, not boxed. They’re tasteless and boxy! Come on folks!

I had a birthday cake delivered to our restaurant reservation at Peach Blossom for our dessert. I ordered a “6 inch cake” and was happy to be able to still get the Chocolate Peppermint flavor (a seasonal specialty). I had no specifications, other than noting it was for a birthday, so it didn’t need to look holiday-ish. Not only did Opal’s craft a GORGEOUS cake, it was moist and delicious! Between 5 people, we still had more than half the cake leftover. Thank you, Opal’s for a beautiful and delicious cake!

I purchase the confectionaries for my co-workers on a regular basis. The cashew caramels and dark chocolate coconut cremes are the favorites, but we have never had anything we didn't like. Last time I had so many bags the manager even helped carry to my vehicle. Thank you all for going above and beyond and keep the sweet treats coming.

While camping at The Villages, our family takes the shuttle to Turning Stone for the delicious food options. One of our favorites is to get pastries from Opals for breakfast. So many delicious offerings and great service. Pricey, but the gourmet desserts are well worth it.

Decent pastries, but weird favors and uncommon deserts. Who puts liquorice flavor in red velvet cake? Or who really wants a pineapple turnover? I'm all for trying new stuff but come on! If you don't have apple, or blueberry turnovers but have pineapple. Then your doing it wrong! The only other complaint I have is the pastries are not fresh. Most are frozen prepared and dry or crumble. If you can't bake stuff fresh then you should probably find someone who can! Even grocery stores bake fresh items!

We got a Cannoli Cupcake and a Cream Puff. The cupcake wasn't very good. It was a pound cake with strawberry filling, very little Cannoli filling on top of that, about 1/2 tsp. Then it was covered with a strawberry frosting and chocolate shavings. Not sure where the heck some of those components came from but they don't belong in anything saying Cannoli. It was gross, could barely get past 2-3 bites. The cream puff is too big, and the filling and pastry are nasty. When I order a cream puff I want an intact uncut pastry. The filling is a light cream with what clearly tastes like powdered sugar. Not sure what that cream is but it's not Italian pastry filling. The cream puff itself is dry and not light enough. The dough is far to heavy. Again neither of us made past 2-3 bites. Makes me unsure of wanting to purchase certain goods from there. Clearly there is work to be done on these items and maybe more.

We very much enjoy their baked goods but was surprised to see the Opera Torte go from $22.44 on 1/28/20 to $27.19 on 3/3/20 (both include tax). Whereas we understand prices do increase, a 21% increase in my opinion, is ridiculous. The adage is true, the house always wins.

After making purchases at Opals at Point Place Casino on a couple of occasions that had to be thrown out because they were so stale and dry, we traveled to Turning Stone Casino and made a purchase at that Opals. Once again, my $7 order of an eclair and a cupcake were thrown away. Each time I purchased items to go. If I ever purchase from Opals again, I will taste the item on site so I can return items instead of throwing away.
