The worst location dollar general has. Their higher up management is TERRIBLE. That’s why they can’t keep store/assistance managers and the store is always closed. They are not clean, and they don’t care about covid regulations with their employees. I would never go back there or recommend anyone go inside that store. They need to be shut down.

The lady running the store was amazing! She was helpful and funny, and she even managed to diffuse a pending tiff between my son and me. The shelves were well stocked and the place was immaculate! This was my first trip to this location. I will DEFINITELY be back!

I usually like this place and go to it very often! However tonight was ridiculous! Me and 3 others tried to go in at 8:30p.... Which is 30minutes before they close, and the door was locked. The gentleman at the register said with a rude attitude that they were closed. Except the sign on the door said they close at 9p, online says 9p... in my opinion that's unacceptable. I've worked retail, you don't lock the doors until closing.

My son was walking around the store looking for specific items and the staff was following him around the store. While I was on the phone with him a young lady approached him and said he has been there for a while and asked said my manager wanted to know if he plans on purchasing anything. He let them know he has money and does not have to take anything. First, he should not have to explain why he is in there. Second and most importantly, I am highly offended that he was approached and they assume he was in there to do anything other than to make a purchase. If you are a African american male, I do not recommend you go to this location because they will assume you are there to steal. If the manager and staff at this location are suspicious of African american male shoppers, they need to permanently close this location.

CURRENT: ANOTHER UPDATE: This particular Dollar General gets better with time. Each time I visit the store, it's appears to be even more tidier than the last visit. I frequented the store prior to the Christmas Shopping Rush, as I entered both registers had long lines, I finished my shopping, went up front to check out and those long lines were gone. I think one of the cashier's name is Eddy, can't recall the other cashiers name, I jokingly ask what did they do with all those customers, one replied, "I put myself in their place." I thought that was a splendid reply. The store was very well stocked and a "H-U-G-E" difference in the neatness from back in August 2018. BIG TRANSITION. Keep up the good work. 5+ ******* UPDATE: I visited this particular Dollar General on Friday, August 31, 2018, to my amazement when I entered the store, I thought to myself, "what has happened to this store?" In my previous review I noted that the store was in complete disarray. On Friday morning everything was so neatly aligned, shelves stocked, the new personnel greeted you with a song in their voices. WHAT A H-U-G-E DIFFERENCE. CONGRATULATIONS! This Dollar General Store could use a little bit of tidying up compared to other stores I have shopped, maybe like an interior make-over, (sort of un-organised). The cashiers and the staff on the floor are always friendly, helpful and busy. I guess one might think if the staff is always busy, why unorganized? Always stocking shelves. This store still stock those very well versed 2/$1.00 greeting cards which are very "CLASSY." I will still patronize this store due to they are well stocked with or without the "UN-ORGANIZATION." One day it will be fixed.
