We usually eat here at least once each year when we are in the area. It's a big place so usually easy to get in and eat without a lot of wait. The food and service has always been good. I had the fajita quesadilla which was really good. We will probably be back next year.

This restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The service is great, and Carlos took wonderful care of us. We tried so many different items, and every single one was great! The guacamole was fabulous!

San Jose Mexican Restaurant is a fantastic place to go for amazing food. This was only the second time we've visited in a number of years and it was even better than I remembered. The environment and ambiance was great, very clean. The service excellent. The food the best I've had at any Mexican restaurant. The guacamole? WOW. If you like guacamole, go there! It's an hour and a half from our home and we'll continue to go there for special treats. Highly recommend you do too!

The ambiance here is very well done and the restaurant is well kept. Our waiter seemed very uncaring about our needs and didn't speak very much. The margarita we ordered was very watered down or lacking tequila in my opinion. This was the first time I found steak chorizo and enjoyed having that as my meal. We will be thinking hard whether we will return on our next visit.

Food - 2 stars The salsa was quite watery. Nothing special. I ordered a dish with "crab" listed on the menu. What I got was "Krab," which was very unappealing. I ate two bites and had the dish taken away. Not good at all! Drinks - 4 stars The peach margarita was delicious, and a "mucho" size was plenty for my husband and I to share. The drink saved the evening, since that's really all I had for dinner! Was it worth the $50 bill? Absolutely not.

Girlfriend and I planned a stop in Elizabethtown based on proximity to an outdoor activity, we didn't even know if there would be a sit down restaurant here. This place was a great surprise. The service was very quick and friendly and they continued to check on us after we got our entrees. The fresh guac was really good and a big portion. Drinks were large and delicious. We had the street tacos and they were all great. We are sad that we only have one night here...

Not the biggest fan of Mexican, but my fiancé loves this place so figured I’d give it a try. Food was amazing, atmosphere was so incredibly neat, and our server was super friendly and attentive, and even offered us a to-go beverage when we asked for the check. Will not even hesitate to come here again when we’re back in this area!

I went to San Jose this past Sunday. I had been told that there would be a long wait time since it was one of their busiest days. I called in ahead, they were very polite and we were able to reserve a table for 15 people ( I know Large). When we arrived we let them know we were all there and they proceeded and sit us down, NO WAIT TIME!!!!!!! This surprised me. They sent two waiters to our table, which turn out to be the best experienced I have had with large groups. Our orders were all correct. Our beverage were never empty, and to top it off. Our food tasted amazing! Overall, the experience was much better than anticipated. They have plenty of room for big or small parties. I recommend this place, you have to try it out!
