Love everyone at the Rock Creek and Mountain View stores. Always greeted by my first name and they treat my disabled son so nicely.

The Store in Elkin NC 28621 has locked the doors at 8:20 pm but the sign has 8am to 9pm is this a normal practice for this Store .

I had the pleasure of being helped by a lady named Jessie . She was so very friendly, polite , respectful and knowledgeable of her store and products. I now shop at this specific dollar general because of the wonderful experience that Jessie made possible. I suggest going to see her and the other fine associates at Dollar General .

I love shopping here. I never know what I'll find for my grandkids- all 10 of them !! They have a variety of so much. Staff is usually very helpful & friendly. I just wish the store was bigger.

Nice people. Except one guy that I asked about a price of something they jad on special. His response was I don't know. I mean seriously??? Other than that the Elkin store needs to adjust its product so that they are not so crowded with items all over the place and DG needs to give them more room to work at check out so they have a place to store bags. The check out closest to groceries always has too much stuff on it. But, people are nice...for the most part.

Husband went in for lemon juice and the associate yelled "it might be on aisle 3 somewhere "...He looked high and low and couldn't find it. She was very unwilling to help us. Store was nasty, as usual.

Always has crowded disorganized shelves. Seems like too much stock in a small space. Workers are always friendly and happy to help you find things. Prices are sometimes higher then your local walmart.

It is a mess in this store. While I recognize that Dollar General stores are discount stores, many are often organized and neat inside, despite the bargain values. In this case, items were just in piles on some racks/isles, and the store just seemed in disarray. If you can see beyond that, then go get 'dem specials.
